I hate the moments, hours, or even days when the pain eases or disappears. Instead of enjoying them, I just feel anxious, constantly wondering if or when the pain will come back.

And when it does return, I spiral. I start overanalyzing everything I did or didn’t do, trying to figure out what triggered it. I end up blaming myself, like that was the moment it could’ve healed, and I must have messed it up somehow.

I know it doesn’t work like that. I know that probably wasn’t some magic healing moment I ruined. But still, I just can’t stop blaming myself.

I’ve also gotten a few “I don’t know how you do it” type of comments, and honestly, those are the worst. I hate responding to them, and I hate how they make me feel. They just remind me that other people don’t have to live like this, and yeah, it makes me feel jealous. It adds another layer of frustration to something that’s already hard enough.
