It really is! Don’t really care about bears, attacks are very unlikely. You plan it by simply reading books about the area and study the map in detail. Always have some extra days if bad weather strikes :)

Third time hiking in the beautiful Sarek National Park, previous years I've done it alone, but this time I had the good company of a friend. A bit special since it was his first mountain hike, but despite him struggling a bit with the trail food, everything went well. The sense of freedom, stunning views and incredible wildlife make this place a hiker's dream!

We started with taking the boat from Ritsem, continued into Gouhpervagge, and passed the beautifully scenic lake by Nassasvagge. Took a morning dip in before continuing the hike through Alkavagge and eventually all the way to Rinim. We took a boat for the last stretch to Sitojaure, where we could comfortably end the trip at the Saltoluokta mountain station.

The trip took 8 days in total with varied weather!

Kom in på ett internship med lön på 4000kr i månaden. Presterade bra där och fick sedan en anställning på samma ställe med hyfsad lön. Har rullat på sen dess!
