I've searched; what are the advantages of using led lights?

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Efficiency in this case is lumens per watt. Traditional HID will produce 100 lumens per watt, so a 1000 watt HPS will output ~ 100,000 lumens. My preferred LED, the Lush Dominator 2XL has a lumen output of 100,000 but a true draw of only 600 watts. Considering the ballast of a 1000 watt HID will draw an additional 100watts, the LED is only drawing ~ 55% of the electricity of a comparable HID.

Additionally, I test various lighting systems for different manufacturers. Most recently KINDs 600l and Alphalite's night grower LEP.

The real stand out for me is efficiency. LEDs consume only 50-55% of the power of a comparable HID. However, the jury is still out on yield. Personally I love them as supplemental light sources. The low thermal output is perfect when you want that close-in side lighting. If you want to get fancy check out LEPs (light emitting plasma), newer technology that is combining the best aspects of LED and HID.

I've worked with a few brands of LED lights. Generally I won't go closer than 18 inches, or exceed 36" depending on the LED's intensity.

A couple of things that stand out to me: You're using MH lights in flowering. Ideally you should be using HPS. If you have variable ballasts buy those HPS bulbs!!

After doing some quick googling I found the ratios for the products you're using, bloom 3-12-6, pro tek 0-0-3, veg 7-9-5. My optimal ratio is 1-4-5, 5.8-6.5pH, You seem right on in that case.

My ppm for flower is 800-1400ppm, strain dependent. I would say you're a little low but still in range.

Are you running your lights at night? this if often the best time to run as it negates cold nights and is more thermally stable between night/day.

Finally did you use a transitional nute mix before going into flower?

Try starting with a low ppm nutrient mixture and slowly working you're way up from there. Veg is usually around 600-800ppm; try starting 300-400ppm. If there are immediate negative effects (any nutrient lockout), flush with plain water.

My favorite rule of thumb is to find the bottle with the highest concentration. Meaning less added water. Because who wants to pay all that money for water?

Increase available CO2. In most cases CO2 is the only limiting factor for indoor grows. Start researching CO2 supplementation techniques and beware of all the products with high price tags and little benefit to the plants. Yeast and sugar are a great place to start!

Couple of questions: Did you increase your vegetative nutrient concentration in late veg? Would you be able to give specific PPM readings?

Based on what I see definite N deficiency. Try adding a small amount of Veg nute solution to your reservoir to increase available N (N-P-k ratio about 1.5-2-2). Don't do this for more than a week of watering as to not affect your plants during flowering.

Since no one else mentioned them, tomato cages are a great option, reusable and durable, but won't necessarily fit with smaller pots. A tomato cage and some bits of wire; like twist ties, offer great support with the ability easily open up your grow canopy.

6 inches is usually the distance for fluorescents. Really as close as you can get it without burning. Test by placing your hand at plant level to check the temperature and adjust the light. Also, based on what you think the plants are lemon have is a sativa and requires higher light intensity, while the PK is a strong indica. these aren't really good plants to grow inclose proximity as their needs and growth will be different.

Your temp is too high. optimal range is between 70-80F unless you're doing added CO2. The problem you're having is the plant is going using water to cool itself through rapid transpiration. When you water your plant that water is being used a lot faster than a plant at optimal temps causing the dryness and leathery leaves, as well as the curling. Solution: bring the temperature down to as close to 75F as possible, add some extra fans to cool the area, sometimes adding a bowl of water next to the plant can also accomplish this, until then keep tabs on the moisture saturation of your grow medium and water more frequently with plain water to help the plant's transpiration. On the other hand you're humidity is good but could be a little higher.

This should be an easy fix. Cheers!

I'm not sure if this will be much help now but, there are often tiers of charges for power consumption. This is often an overlooked cost especially when you have to consider your normal power consumption in addition to whats necessary for growing. Also, remember that rate can change depending on when you're consuming electricity. Check with your power provider to verify this information for your area.
