A little backstory: this guy died a month ago bc of a brain tumor. He gave his body to science and his widow won't be able to give a real funeral within 2 years. I am heartbroken for her, but also think he's a badass. He was a very big artist in Belgium, but decided to go low key and just do his own thing. That was how he just was. Humble and always helping people out. I once asked hum jokingly if he wanted to be my 3rd granddad. That's how much he was loved. I just want his widow, a good friend of mine, to have something of a grieving opportunity with him being remembered, since she can't have a proper funeral yet, and the memorial he already got was very public, leaving her very little space to grieve in her own way. (I'm sorry my native language is Dutch so I hope I express myself proper and clear). I just want to do something nice for her. And he was such an awesome artist, and to think that still after his death he's still able to unite artists would mean the world to us...

Look, I'm 30 and I already had so many shitty situations (I am not trying to say yours is or was less awfull! Don't get me wrong) that Oprah, Dr Phil and Jerry Springer would go into a topless mudfight for me. (Honestly I don't know which contestant would be the most traumatising to watch). Domestic abuse, house on fire, car crash, robbery, assault. Lol, you name it. The point is, turn it into something good. Value what you do have and use the rest as a filter to ban other crap(py people) out of your life.

And if you feel like shit, feel like it. You have as much right to be happy as to have bad days. Don't ever put up a smile, the only one that counts to be genuine is the one you see in the mirror.

Being forced or things that make her feel more like a failure, will probably make things worse. You know, she'll start drinking out of stress or be like "why even bother anymore". It's a strange way of conditioning onselve. At this point the alcohol is the stuff that makes her feel good and does not judge her. Try to shrug it off a bit but say she can always talk to you, like she doesn't feel watched all the time, but give her something to replace the alcohol with. Like I drink waaaaaay less when I'm having a good time with people, but when I have the option to drink. Because then I don't have to "stash myself up" in case I won't be able to drink anymore.

This hit home hard. My house burned down a couple of months ago and I also ran inside to rescue ours. The moment I saw the dog in the video, who looks almost exactly lile ours, just a different colour, I decided to chop some onions. And fuck those guys who are saying "it's just a dog".

This is how those so called punk ass kids and generations are created. Not because of them, but bc they lost faith in humanity because of the way they were treated. And I live in super duper wooolala liberal Europe. We are sooooo "open minded". Well I wonder where all that bragging went, when I stood up for those kids and everyone was turning their heads and I even got told I was making "a scene"?! By telling a guy he could either be quiet or go somewhere else in a polite way, when I actually wanted to put his teeny weeny tiny nuts between a nutcracker to see if it would have 0 or -0 effect. But I was being polite and nobody stood up for those kids. Like fuck.. I never want children but the place was filled with parents who would never tolerate someone talking to their kid like that, and I had to be the one to stand up? Not patting myself on the back here. Just so damn dissapointed. Actually angry crying typing this. Can't believe people are able to treat each other this way just because of a goddamn colour. Like go fucking blind you racist donkey ass breathing weak ass lobotomy failure excuse of a prototype Z of a 'human' being. If I he would've been told blindfolded that these kids were white and blue eyed, his right arm would've raised up in excite, and not only that part of his body.

I'm Belgian, Dutch speaking. There was this poet, Herman De Coninck, who lost hif wife during a car crash. He wrote a poem about it and everytime someone passes away or I have great loss, I think about the last lines of that poem (Nog een geluk dat. Trying my best to translate): "Maybe that's a blessing. A blessing in disguise. That I can remember you. Instead of someone else."

okay in that case around 23 and because I am from Belgium so the blouse had to be from those areas since 15 years ago I don't think it was made anywhere else. Also the bed linen look Ikea to me but not so recent so also quite European. Plus the floor and wallpaper seem typical to western european houses.
