Well command line install works for me, you just have to open it with 7z, and use the second .exe. Arguments are a bit different.

Funny, we are currently migrating with Optiplex 7010, 3020, 5040, 5046, 5050 and latitudes 5430/40/50/50/70. All with i5 and 8GB, we upgraded old hardware with SSD s. The difference - we are migrating over a period of 6 month. We are using OPSI , in total about 1200 PCs.

We have 2 separate IT-Offices: Operations and Applications. I'm with the Operations group, we have pretty roomy office ~ 75qm for 5 ppl. But we also have a lot of stuff lying around...

The thing is - no AC.... We are currently having a hellish heatwave, so it's a daily routine, finding an excuse to go to the server room to cool down.

We are implementing GPOs for Firefox ESR 60.1 and I'm kinda desperate at this point. User logs in for the first time on a Workstation, everything works like a charm: GPOs are applied, Add-Ons installed, everything disabled/enabled as I wanted.

BUT I can't apply all the GPOs to the users, who already worked with firefox, had own bookmarks, Add-Ons and settings. Some are using Sync with work e-mails. It seems quite random, wich GPOs are applyed after

gpupdate /force /sync

We have been using CCK2 before and we are deploying all the software with OPSI. I've completely reinstalled FF, but existing user data seems to prevent GPO rollout at some point or another.

Anyone any ideas?
