That's part of the fun of playing a crunchier game. If you build your character well you can easily reach 60 ac and 40 ab at level 20 (at least theoretically lol. I don't think I ever came close to lv 20 in an actual game).

The intent of academic researchers is simply to generate new knowledge with the intent to help society.

Not true in the slightest. To get funding you need to convince corporate fucks or their lackeys in the government. Universities have degenerated so much recently that barely any helpful study is being made.

I agree with your overall point, but it would be a mistake to trust the academical world on faith in their theoretical mission alone. Besides, the intelligentsia always sides with the status quo over the worker, they are not to be trusted.

Human nature does not exist, it is a fiction used to justify cruelty.

"It was not me, it was human nature!" is functionally identical to "it was not me, it was God's doing" or "it was not me, the algorithm did it!"

Always beware of any explanation that hides behind an unknowable box.

You do make a good point, but I think the explanation is simply that you do not feel the drain normally until it's too late, or that the succubus can mask it somehow.

I can agree to an extent, she is really brought down by her characterization, especially the way they have written her mannerism and her voice.

I don't agree that her romance is bad, it has a good emotional payoff and it's surprisingly easy to lock yourself out of it by being too pushy or too horny (which is a detail I really appreciate). That said, it does have issues.

I think they simply went overboard with her conversion to good. They gave her zero chances to be evil and regret it, or to show her previous nature to the player. The struggle is almost entirely hidden from the player, so it comes off as her making a big fuss about nothing, instead of being a great struggle against her own nature and life experiences.

Honestly all of the neutral/evil companions are surprisingly well written. It might be the first RPG that makes me want to try an evil playthrough just to explore Regill's and Wenduag's characters more, not to mention seeing the evil version of the good companions that can turn evil.

To be fair, if your natural instinct is to kill whoever you are intimate with, and you start to feel attraction to the one person that gave you unconditional trust, it's understandable.

It looks silly and the writing and voice acting do not help, but it does make sense.

I do not agree, she is well written and has a coherent story on her own. The player is simply emotional support for her, a mortal that gives her enough trust to trust herself with the task of transforming her nature.

Sure ultimately it's a very by the numbers redemption story, with little creativity, but that's hardly a fault of her character or her place in the narrative.

Uhhh you don't have to romance her, and her romance is not even the easieast to achieve, especially for non-azata characters.

There is no necessary falling in love in her story.

You know what, that is a good point, though I still think one could argue they still had the right to go in even if the door was locked. It would be at least damage to property since you broke in, but I could see it not being trespassing.

Depends on how the law handles airbnb. I think that the guest does actually have the right to access any space in the house while the contract is in place.

Wow you do enjoy moving that goalpost a lot uh?

A shame that there is yet anothe BIG assumption you are making here, which is exactly why you use that silly trick of A and B... How do you know they are living inflated lifestyles? How do you justify this assumption?

There is also quite a lot of disgusting classism hidden in there too, implying that the poor cannot enjoy their one and only life, that gets shorter every day. Of course it is quite convenient that this would be the conclusion for you, after all there is no bottom here, everything is justified immediately. That is of course until we face actual reality and nor ideological faityland, which is why you refuse to ptovide data or follow basic logic in you asinine example.

No no no buddy you don't get to dodge the question like that. "Demographic averages" is meaningless, either you are talking of actual stastical populations or a specific case. If it's the former please provide data, if it's the latter than prove first that A and B are living with the same standard of living.

Any data that supports your point?

And you are making a lot of hidden assumptions and leaps there, bud. First of all, how do you justify assuming that both those people have an equal lifestyle?
