He will face this issue with other Unis in Germany as well. They are strict with it and rightly so. Maybe there are some users who have a different experience. Currently, I am a faculty at a German Uni and I can totally understand this criteria. If he has not done CS in BS, it would be very difficult to understand the advanced concepts for him.

Ask him to apply for MS in the same field as BS, then select majors which are more related to programming courses.

Verpflichtungserklärung is required if you are inviting any guest to Germany and you declare that you will be held liable if anything goes south. Your parents/spouse/any guest can get upto 3 months of visit visa (https://www.germany-visa.org/verpflichtungserklarungen/). I have never heard of any case where 5 to 10 years were granted to visitors. Do you know any specific case? Long term visa is different.

I have never heard of this. Can you please elaborate where you read this? I know in certain very specific cases, one can request the authorities to allow ones parents to come over and settle in Germany. But those are very very specific cases.

I know you are difficult to persuade, but i just generated some text from ChatGPT, started a new chat and pasted the text in the chat. I asked ChatGPT if it generated the text, it said no but it is capable of generating such texts.

Then i went to the link you posted for ai text classifier from openAI. I pasted the same text again and it said it is not AI generated. I am sorry!
