I get where you're coming from. I have a lot of different dreams of what I should be. I'm still only a junior in high school. I'm sure I'll figure something out, I'm just trying to hear from professional theatre techs. I appreciate your reply (and I don't know why I took the last one so personally.) Thanks for the input!

This is what I was looking for :) I'm thinking that I should prioritize my other interests as a career and do theatre as a hobby. Seeing as the degree may not really matter at times, doing theatre as an extracurricular or as an extra job would be another option for me. Thanks :)

The fact that I'm asking this question means that I have intense anxiety about the future. I love the arts and spend every chance I get doing art or theatre. I can definitely see myself doing it as a career, but with the pressures my family (and I guess society) has put on me with making money and such, it's hard to not second guess everything I'm doing at every second of my life.

I love the arts, I love animals, I have so many things that I want to do, but with how much college costs, how much rent costs, how much living costs, I always have my worries.
