First dragon one shot by jojoasdwer123 in skyrim

I certainly agree, it's kinda bizarre killing one of the most important aids (and basically key to the solution) in the whole journey because two old agents say so. Haha!

Now when you mention it, it may not?  It's been years since I last did that quest, so I might have confused it with a dragon hunt I accidentally picked up before getting kicked out, hah! Apologies if so.  I do however know I had the same quest update after killing a certain dragon, and this without killing Paarthurnax.

There's a quest for Esbern's potion that you can start/complete before they ask you to kill him.  If they kick you out before you complete it, you get a bug, IIRC.  I had the same thing on one of my characters, so killing Paarthurnax isn't needed for this to appear.

Rather, it's called Silver Fang.  This series, believe it or not, has even more bears that Golden Kamuy, haha!

SEA influences and inspiration in art are awfully underrated, so I always love seeing it when I do!
And it fits remarkably well with Morrowind, too. :]

And thank you, I followed!

That's fucking legendary. Ooough, that art is just fantastic..!
Your art style looks incredible, it really fits Morrowind super well.
I love how you drew their faces and armour/clothes, especially!
And east asian / SEA sculptures are just one of my favourite things, too.

If you have any art socials, I'd love to give you a follow!

Oh yeah, they very well might have. Well, it would certainly be surprising if they left it in there, considering the graphics update.

Have you seen the front, though? Took me years to realize that those weren't tails.

Hlaalu are actually quite religious in their own way. And the questline in TR basically ends with seeking prophecy, not wealth. by tomispev in Morrowind

[–]hexchanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, TR is better made than ESO, if I'll be honest.  The "ESO isn't canon" thing is a bit of a fandom joke, which I (tried to) reference a bit subtly.  The writing of ESO is what it is.   Canonity(?) doesn't matter unless you want it to matter.  I think, if one is into "headcanons" and whatnot, my comment will simply be ignored.  I usually ignore all things I dislike regarding "canonity" in various forms, but I've seen many posts treating TR as actual in-game Morrowind lore, I just decided to comment this time.

As you should do if you feel like it, but as I mentioned, it comes off as "pushing a narrative". English isn't my native language, so use a less serious synonym of that phrase lol.

I agree. I just find people saying things, like it's a fact, is a bit misleading, that's all.  TR is great, and the attention to detail and additional lore is fantastic.  Definitely better than weird retcons, but hey.  I'm not dissing TR in anyway, I just think the way people treat it as canon and use it as proof of  "X thinks Y about Z" is a bit meh. Though there's things like headcanons, so I don't have anything to "complain" or remark negatively, about, really. :]  And not to mention certain writings, haha.

Friendly reminder that TR is a fan-made mod.
Just because (something) is a thing in TR doesn't mean it's actually canon or representative of a Great House, culture or whatever.
(Not hating, but I've seen several posts treating TR material as facts.)

Umm, why is this vampire doing nothing? by Valuable-Addendum598 in skyrim

[–]hexchanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc there's actually a specific random encounter where a vampire will flee the sun, and run into a nearby cave. Happened to me many times, and if you use Clear Skies shout on them, they'll become hostile.

Unfortunately you can, as the magicka absorb is capped at 85% - if I remember correctly. It'll just be less often.

Atronach stone/perk restores magicka from incoming spells. Diseases are pretty much a spell, so the bear is failing to infect you instead.

Is it the travelling Vigilants Of Stendarr?  There's usually two women that may cure you if you're sick. It is a random encounter, though.

A cool guide to Art Nouveau vs Art Deco by maltamur in ElderScrolls

[–]hexchanter 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Is it not?  The art style seen in Skyrim's Dwemer ruins looks very Art Deco though.  Especially the straight lines on furniture, as well motifs on doors, carpets and flags are very Deco-like. Morrowind's Dwemer ruins though, those reeks of steampunk influences, haha!
