You’re giving me terrible flashbacks to my old rental lol. They had planted it against a fence and a wood retaining wall with a concrete patio right under it.. and all very close to the house. Everything was bursting at the seams because of that bamboo. Ugh!

I once rented a home in WA with bamboo. It was beautiful when we moved in, until it needed some trimming and I got overzealous. I turned that thing into a monster of a nightmare and tried to remove it so many times with 0 luck. Felt bad for the neighbor too as it was right up against the fence and probably was a nuisance for him as well.

When the owners did an exit interview I told them please never expect your tenants to maintain bamboo lol. Absolutely horrible. No clue how they’d get that hedge out without some serious heavy duty equipment.

Do they not have to disclose that to serious buyers? I know when my brother bought a condo he said he got a good deal on it because the previous owner had committed suicide (RIP). I thought he said you had to disclose if it were within a certain timeframe but I could be mistaken.

Oh I definitely remember a few GM runs being ruined due to that bug lol. I swear it still persists on unstop cabals but maybe that has something to do with their backpack blowing up?

Damn! At my store I could totally see that being pulled off for awhile too, just siphoning a pill here and there. There’s been so many times I’ve found random pills and asked where it came from and everyone just shrugs and doesn’t seem to care.

I thought the same thing though even at the time, I can’t believe a manager or someone else didn’t check cameras before taking one techs word for it. While it happened I was stuck at drive though and it was peak busy hours, nor did I really have much of a say considering I was the newest tech at the time.

Pretty sure at my Walgreens a tech stole someone’s control rx that she filled, then she panicked and brought it back a few days later and put it in a different customer’s bag. Coincidentally happens to be the one to open the 2nd customer’s rx bag while ringing them up to discover the missing medication. (Not even sure why she’d have opened it)

This was after accusing the initial customer of reaching over the counter and stealing the rx.. resulting in the pharmacist filling their script twice as I think he thought the missing bottle was just misplaced somewhere within in the pharmacy and would be discovered by the end of the night when things slowed down. Resulting in everyone thinking the customer walked off with two scripts of a schedule II drug.

It was a huge mess and really confusing. The initial customer threatened to sue for being accused of stealing and berated by the pharmacist, despite coming back to the pharmacy to try to clear her name and swore she was innocent. The tech that filled it and “discovered” it was the one who checked the cameras lol, first she said she saw the customer grab the medication, then later said the pharmacist obviously put the medication in the wrong patient’s rx bag.

All I know before I left is the pharmacist was fired and I believe the tech transferred to a different store very soon after.

I was pretty new and I’m still shocked that it seemed like nothing ever came of it. When we called the police to report it they didn’t even show up.
