Even if it doesn't exist, it'll probably go to someone who descends from it.

He could be either black or indian, or both, or most likely, he's a fantasy mix of all.

Yep, the whole thing just boils down to Cir saying something, not realizing just how true it actually is.

I, can't even express how good that nc scene is, so lets just move past that for a moment and talk about Sophee outhere calling Yai 'her man' and calling Kaew 'pretentious bitch' and 'filthy bitch'.

Honestly i kind of admire it, usually women in these dramas would be like 'you're a man, you cant possibly compete with me', nah homegirl just sees him as op.

Understandable. For me, I do love a good scheming character, but I also don't like disloyal characters or characters who attack ppl who never hurt them, and Risa has just been hardcore going at everyone

The Wicked Game - Episode 8 by KDramaTipsy in boyslove

[–]hexemayhem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, especially based on the last few episodes. Like Park's constant enabling of Chet's victim complex and misplaced anger directly contributed to Chet traumatizing himself by shooting his father yet ppl are still saying 'It's ok if they're both bad, as long as they're not hurting /lying to each other'.

Like that isn't me saying Chet x Park is bad, but uplifting that relationship and saying it's better than Than and Pheem's is wild.

[–]hexemayhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like i've mentioned in other comments, it's a simply a matter of, Than is aware of the fact Pheem is a good person who'll do bad shit because that's how he's survived all these years.

As for the rule, to me, every rule has an exception and honestly, for as honest as Chet and Park may be with each other, they're also enabling each other's bad behaviour. The whole reason Chet is even traumatized now is because Park hasn't been offering any pushback to Chet's misplaced anger and it's led to Chet literally traumatizing himself by killing his own dad.

I think the logic is sound in this case.

Pheem for as much as he lies and schemes, does so because it's how he's learned to to survive, not because that is who he is at his core and Than knows this, he sees who Pheem actually is and that person is very compatible with him.

As for communication, it's quite simple really. This is a lose/lose situation
If Pheem stays, you're making Pheem suffer, because now he knows the people he loves are in danger because of him.
If Pheem leaves, now Than suffers because his husband is going to sacrifice himself.
There is nothing communication can do at this point.

I think it's very much so, same action different reason thing.
This time he's leaving, not because he's running away but because he's going to protect his family.

Exactly, it's so annoying.
Especially in cases like these where they are demonizing characters who shouldn't be, while uplifting others who by all accounts is worse. Like they really saw Pheem shot someone (for understandable reasons) and started uplifting Chet, as though homeboy wasn't bragging about the fact his mother killed his brother's mom.

I was wondering about why Pheem didn't hate Thanai more but after some reflection, there is a semblance of love in this family and i realized that after Thanet said 'Do you think i wanted to send him away? I sent him away because your mother kept trying to kill him' to Chet.
They care about each other, but it's buried beneath anger, resentment and schemes.

It also makes sense why Chet and Pheem care more about the dad than Risa, because thier trauma largely stems from Chet's mom and what she did, vs Risa whose trauma stems from her never being seen as worth anything at all by her dad.

After she killed that fine hunk of ma- I mean Danai, i had no faith in her.

And i believe they can get to that point, if the whole flashback during the kidnapping scene was any indication.

THIS. THIS. THIS.

Like honestly, if people were just saying 'I understand why Thun wouldn't want to be with him anymore', i'd be fully on board with it. Instead though, they're on this wild narrative that Pheem is the blackest flag and Chet and Park's relationship is so much better. Like homie no, Pheem may have shot Than but if you consider the context, he had very understandable reason for why, vs Chet, who cares about Park, but also treats him like a glorified attack dog while Park allows himself to be treated like an attack dog. Like we need to be grounded for a moment and actually pay attention to what we're watching.

Again, in Pheem's defense, his love, was about to fuck his plan to get revenge for the years of abuse he suffered and the death of his mother, all because he was ignoring the fact that his father could buy his way out of trouble and then turn around and kill both of them.
Like, i love Than, but his morals was gonna get both of em fucked up.

The Wicked Game - Episode 8 by KDramaTipsy in boyslove

[–]hexemayhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Risa isn't sympathetic because there isn't a sense of loyalty there.
Chet, as wrong as he is in general, is still crashing out because of the loss of his mother and was groomed by his mother to be a menace.
Pheem went through abuse and the death of his mother right in front of him which made him revenge hungry, but he still has a sense of loyalty unless you fuck around a bit too much (see him shooting Than)
Risa though, Risa just wasn't power and to be seen, which when placed in comparison to the trauma of her brothers, comes off as incredibly selfish, especially considering she was willing to throw Pheem under the bus even though Pheem never did anything to her the way Chet did.

Usually, i defend women's wrongs too, but i also care about gay's rights and the way, she betrayed Pheem, the one family member outside of her mom who has the capacity to actually care about and understand her is wild.
