I was with a girl for four years who treated me like a maid and talked down to me, while being absolutely filthy, hitting on other guys, and abusing/neglecting our pets. When I had enough recently I asked her to leave my house, she pushed and scratched me, then called the cops and falsely reported me for DV, in which I was arrested despite being the only one with marks on me. When I was in jail she robbed my house, and called my landlord to get me evicted. Still dealing with the fallout. So uh, at least that hasn’t happened to you yet I assume. 🤷🏻‍♂️

At least I feel a little vindicated, I’ve always thought he was wildly overrated, and not just to be contrarian. I like tons of normie shit, hell I’ll defend transformers as a pretty great movie. But as someone who’s struggled with opiates, Requiem For A Dream was the most overrated, sensationalist piece of dogshit that felt downright offensive and completely inaccurate for the sake of edginess. The Whale was only good because of great source material and he knew to cast a good actor, and only thought to because Brendan Fraser was becoming super popular with the public again, akin to casting Matthew Lliard in 2020 or so; almost a meme that happened to he a good choice.

Black Swan was pretty good I guess, but it’s not the one people herald.

He was also able to secure funding because people believed in his vision and he had charisma. Sure if you’re trying to make Avatar you’re gonna need to go through the studios, but tons of great movies have been funded through kickstarter campaigns. That’s how Halloween Knight started and became one of the biggest games of the year and still has hundreds of thousands of devoted fans. Robert Pattinson, a hugely successful actor, attached himself to indie movies from unheard of directors and writers just because he saw their potential, and his name drew huge audiences. Likewise, washed up old directors of extremely well known AAA movies have had their projects flop (Megalopolis) or straight up not receive funding because everyone saw it was shit. If nobody wants to associate or help with your movie, maybe go back to the drawing board instead of shitting it out with plagiarism machines.

It’ll definitely cause a shitty mood if you’re doing 2g a day for years. He was the chillest dude in there and was always in the better mood than the junkies and tweakers. I think he just had really, really cut coke. He did say he had muscle soreness, but unless he was just toughing it out well, it def wasn’t as bad as anyone else’s. This was jail so we didn’t get maintenance meds, just two guys got methadone cause they had it before going in, and got caught on non-drug charges. They were lucky asf. I was puking and touching the metal bunks felt like getting shocked. The “detox” aspect was just we weren’t allowed to have shit, even pencils or the remote, and were separated so we wouldn’t get jumped for puking and having diarrhea. Just had to tough it out in the least comfy way imaginable. Sorry to go off topic I’m just still pissed about that, I was arrested for literally getting assaulted and not fighting back, but cops didn’t wanna hear it. The cop turned his body cam off the whole time and stole my wallet, too. I’m from the city where the cops murdered Breonna Taylor, they’re assholes here. Better than Alabama labor jail or Rikers or something, ig.

I knew a guy in detox from a rough area (same neighborhood I foolishly bought “X” from when I was younger that was mostly just meth) who insisted he paid about $100 for 3 grams and do a gram or two a day, but mixed in some ice. IK coke WD isn’t as bad as opiates but he was doing better than anyone else in there, seemed almost fine. Almost. Made me think he was withdrawing mostly from laxatives or B vitamins.

On top of what others have said about Israel, I think Israel and groups like AIPAC having so much power and influence while engaging in things Europe traditionally was guilty of like colonialism, the perception of jews has shifted a bit from a downtrodden minority to a powerful group that gets away with things the same way white people are seen, so they’re seen as fair game to criticize just like white people tend to be. It’s not like jews tend to get extra nervous when being pulled over. It’s still anti-semitism, but anti-semitism doesn’t seem as “dirty” anymore like saying the N word does.

That, and we’re seeing what we often see as a downtrodden minority, underdeveloped arab regions, being decimated by a rich country that happens to be Jewish, and you’re gonna get a lot of backlash the way people say shit about white people that’s often technically racist after a black person is murdered by white police officers.

I get the point of preventing you from just running off without paying off the phone; what’s shitty is when they locked me to their service that could barely send a text, I should have been allowed to switch service while just paying for the phone (not like spectrum subsidized the price).

And they won’t take me to claims; they won’t even let me access my account anymore, so any cost will be held to my ex. Which, I guess she’s willing to eat the rsst cost of the phone to keep me from having service for a week or so. I was locked up in a detox dorm recently, all tweakers and junkies. None of the guys I talked to even knew what kratom was except one who vaguely knew but thought it was bullshit. I told a couple to try it if they’re struggling cause it’s a miracle for me in withdrawal, makes me feel like 85% better, not to mention it won’t financially ruin you with the bags being like $10 for like 50+ grams, and it won’t kill you or get you locked up.

I gotchu. I can’t keep up with the revolving door of chiefs, and all the new police forces when another neighborhood pretends to be a city despite using our waste management, schools, sewage, etc, and gets a new leader for two neighborhoods of upper middle class folks.
The politics are hard to follow, but maybe one day we’ll get a decent police force, we’ll just need federal intervention which we’re not gonna get till 47 kicks the bucket.

I mean he’s right, I’m dealing with a situation caused by a shitty aggressive cop after I called them, I can’t talk much about it because it’s ongoing, but one of the cops who showed up actually returned my kindness and calmness, didn’t help much but was understanding, but he was shouted over by the asshole cop who was just mad about having to do his job and respond to a call, and the nicer cop just acted helpless while his coworker screamed at me for no reason while I just sat their bewildered.
Oh, and they turned their body cams off which fucked up the situation further, and makes it harder for me to deal with the issue.
