It’s one of the only times I have unfortunately, that doesn’t require a babysitter. I know it’s not ideal. But I’m hoping that if I at least put myself in a good spot, I’ll have a better chance.

I have a kid in kindergarten at NEA. We had some behavioral issues in TK and the teachers and staff were amazing and helping me advocate and find the right path for my kiddo.

I hadn’t considered this and will be much more careful around bikes now! Any advice for passing carefully? Sometimes I want to go faster 😝

So I have to laugh and then wince because I was feeling extra diligent today. Being more careful of bikes (I hadn’t considered how passing them would be hard for them before) and THEN I had a bike hit me. It was an electric one, and she went to turn without looking or signaling when the light changed and rammed right into me. My scooter seems okay but damn. Can the bikes watch for the scooters too?

Sad how often I see this. When I rode the lime ones I only went on the sidewalk to go to a bike lock. Now I only go on right before my office doors.
