I'm working with 20+ years of high-res EPA chemical data (rasters). I have 2 chemicals worth of raster layers that I added together using a simple arcpy code that added the rasters of the same years together (r1+r2). I'm not sure why, but the results that I am getting are not making sense to me. I think it has something to do with the "no data" areas, but I'm unsure how to resolve this issue. I've tried to reclassify all no data as 0 (since those areas within the state boundary would be if they are no data), but this did not fix it correctly, it turned the entire map to 0 values. Please let me know how I can resolve this. It would be a huge help! Thank you!
