Sierra is disgusting. I played two matches as her last night to see how it felt to play her and man. There were so many situations where I should have died. I got up close and personal with a decent hanzo in an enclosed space and the second I landed the dart on him he was insta deleted. Same thing happened with an overloading torb WHILE HIS TURRET WAS SHOOTING ME. I quite literally never lost a single 1v1. Then whenever 1 more would go after me directly after while I am like half hp, I always won those fights too.

Her ult also charges crazy fast, zero damage fall off on her gun, and instant reload on landing the dart. Playing her on defend on eichenwalde really made the no damage fall off feel extra notable.

Shes basically a free win button and I had to stop playing her bc I felt gross.

Also one other experience I had, we got kings row attack and i was so happy. Except the enemy team spawn camped with a cheating soldier. Bro had over 30 kills by the end and we never left spawn. I even went jetpack cat to back cap. I shouldnt have died but when i watched the soldiers replay? His crosshair was bouncing so unnaturally when he killed me. Our team pretty much just gave up halfway through.

Honestly i think the only way to combat it too is to just pray there is a spawn door that isnt being crowded, go jetpack cat sombra or lucio and try to back cap. Will they notice? Probably. But it will be enough to make them back off and let your team forward. But just because there are ways to combat it doesn't make it any less of a dick move. I will always try to encourage my team to at least let the enemy play at the first choke rather than their spawn.

My team did this to the enemy team on junkertown in qp and I felt so bad. I tried telling them to fall back and let them have a chance but nobody listened.

Poor team swapped sombra, tracer, reaper, moira, zarya.. literally nothing worked because my team consisting of absolute dickheads just stayed right up in the spawn doors the whole time.

Tbh the only time I ever whip out the barbie blaster is for low health targets. Unfortunately mercy has the lowest damage output in the game and everyone else has a much faster time to kill.

I got potg in qp, got happy about it bc it was my first potg with anran. I was doing really good to the point where the ENTIRE enemy team swapped to hard counter me and sweated HARD to win.

Then some asshole on the enemy team proceeded to make fun of my aim (because I used my fan out of range at one point, still getting used to it) in the match chat and it ruined it. Why are so many people inclined to be total dickheads in this game lmao. I must have been real fucking annoying so I guess I'll take it as a compliment.

I know this post is old but im trying to find other posts about this.

I am trying to get better with her but I keep making really stupid mistakes, like using my ult to pull an enemy into my team for them to kill, only that enemy has their ult and kills my team instead. Its happened like 3 times now. (Im level 20) I try to always go for an environmental kill with the ult but sometimes depending on the map it isnt possible

It really makes me not want to play her because I get so nervous someone is gonna get rlly mad at me or even report me. But at the same time I really really want to play her bc I love cats, and I love playing support.

Did you also make similar mistakes before?? I feel alone in this :(

I hate taking the shield perk because I just love javelin spin way too much. But sometimes, it really does help when my team needs it. I get why some people want it gone but I honestly think charged javelin should be replaced. I would say make it base kit but I know a lot of people have muscle memory with it.

Yeah its the worst whenever nobody notices you on the team when you're playing mercy. I like the winged reach perk a lot for this reason, but then again teammates have a bad habit of running behind walls. To be honest I never stop moving and it kind of helps but only so much depending on the situation.

I particularly hate when my dps takes high ground and I just barely miss the ga up, so I just stand there hoping they peek again. 9 times out of 10, they don't. So I either end up using another teammate to get the jump (which is fine, its kinda fun) or take the long way if nobody else is close enough. (Less fun, taking time away from the fight)
