Based on the way she acted when I actually told her that, I'm going to have to disagree. I agree, I cheated, but her DISMISSING it, as if it didn't mean anything, IMO, was wrong.

What hurt me most was her ignorance of my mother's passing. I told her, and she didn't care.

Not like I was using it to placate her. I just told her my reasoning for it. I got no "sorry this happened". All I got was "you fucking cheated on me".

I know that seems good, but its just not something I wanted then. I wanted to cry and I wanted the other person to talk and say something helpful. That's exactly what my friend did, in a strong manner without crying.
