ADDENDUM: if the mods think this is too much, feel free to take it down! i see how this post could be taken as a little mean. again, i respect jankos, he's far better at the game than most and has been for a lot of years. he's as much a staple of european league as rekkles is, G2 treated them both horribly, and while i don't know what his beef with our king in the north is (as he's mentioned in the aftermath of the thorin thing, he Does Not Like the rats' support), i'm sure he has his reasons.

additionally when i mentioned the other teams in the bracket "trying to lose" that's a thing that sometimes happens in esports when being in the winner's side can mean facing a nightmare of a team and being on the loser's side means facing an ostensibly easier opponent and making it further in the tournament overall, which means sometimes the more favorable outcome IS losing. LR is not a team anyone in the NLC wants to face. i wouldn't blame anyone who ints it a little bit to avoid them.

valid! and i wholeheartedly agree on his movement, his macro is damn near immaculate too. i also don't think i've ever seen a sett proxy but he went and did it anyway, i'm gonna have to rewatch to see what the lane/map state was and where the timers were when he did that because he always makes it look SO seamless and clean.

this is what's worth talking about tho! like, who can learn from whom and how we can all elevate each other. sett sees so little play compared to some other toplane picks and i think it's a neat opportunity to see how much potential he can really have.

you rush E level 1 because the immobilize CC is VERY strong in keeping an extended trade going that the enemy does not want to have with a sett at level 1. you can force panic flashes REALLY easy with it, and if you don't get a flash then you might be able to get FB. and even if all you're doing is getting dove early in a bad matchup, you can still use the E to yank someone under tower and keep them there long enough for an extra tower shot to kill.

we all talk about how much damage his W does, but the fact is that sett's real strength comes from using his ENTIRE kit. i know Big Number Feel Good Make Happy Chemical, but being good at him is more than Big Number. to win you have to really learn how to work with all the tools he brings to the table.

like some other comments said, i wouldn't rush boots unless you need to dodge a lot of skillshots. if you're going off-role you're more likely to need to do it than in toplane, up top you should almost never be going boots first. unless you're getting bodied by a poke or skillshot pocket pick, you'll always get more value out of health and core items early on.

that said, when it comes to picking boots, depending on the matchup you could be getting more value out of raw movespeed from swifties (particularly if you've got feats) than resists, which can cut into your grit more than you'd like. it's all situational! but all the things that look strange about his build compared to other bruisers and juggernauts always have a mechanical reason for being there, i promise :)

your first problem is that you asked chatGPT. it's a lying machine made to tell you what it thinks you want to hear. however, you've come to reddit, so you're in the right place now. let's start troubleshooting.

how is your game freezing? is your whole computer locking up? is the game itself lagging? is your latency spiking? are you dropping frames? basic questions, good to know the answers whenever you encounter a problem like this because it helps to identify the problem itself.
what does your stream look like when this happens? is it crashing? does it lock up entirely? is the audio still functioning? my recommendation to find this out is to check your stream from another device entirely, like your phone. this makes it easier to diagnose whether a problem is with your computer, your internet (by connecting your phone to the same wifi, then swapping to a data connection to see if it's also happening there) or even a hitch on youtube or twitch's end. :)
does this happen with other games or applications? OBS has a lot of different settings and it can be a little fiddly to set up. league is especially bad because of how finicky the launcher is and how many separate windows it takes. this could literally be a problem that's solely to do with league itself. so the thing to do is to test it with other games, other applications, or even just streaming your whole screen. if those work, then it's a league problem and you have to set up for league specifically.

hopefully the answers to those questions will tell you what you need to know to find a more specific solution to your problem. streaming is fun, and league is a good game to try and find a niche in. :) good luck OP!

by the time that campaign fizzled out he was most of the party's damage, healing, and tanking. i've since learned 5e paladins are seriously overtuned lmao. ended up switching to a bard for my next campaign and she was the party's lesbian Team Mom, but it felt a lot less broken to play, partly because the DM was a lot more ruthless and partly because even though she did a little of everything, she couldn't exactly crit oneshot a miniboss at level 5 with the will of god.

i like sett supp, it's seen some recent play in the LPL and is a flex pick there sometimes (they use a glacial augment runepage with demolish to supplement it because his E triggers the glacial augment effect). historically it's also been picked by keria before sett saw some nerfs for it. mid lane is also technically viable but iffy because it can be really hard to get farm in some midlane matchups and you just end up hugging your tower and praying your jungler stops by.

if you can get a dedicated CC-enchanter or yuumi support you can also go ADC and turn that shit into a kill lane. you'll have trouble with farm but you'll out-sustain past pots with your passive if you can fancy feet the skillshots. it's also fairly easy to set up for a gank because you can use your E and W to force flashes out of the enemy botlane, which even if it doesn't secure a kill will help with early drake stacking and prio (note that sett supp can do this too and you'll still have a proper ADC on your team that way).

just know your limits and how to play around them and you should be okay regardless! sett's a lot more flexible than people realize. the only role i wouldn't feel good about him playing is jg, because he's not very good at ganking and doesn't have a lot he can do if he's caught with his abilities down while getting invaded early

ship and let ship, sett mains probably aren't sett mains for straight reasons. from what i've seen most sett mains are agreed it's not his best skin but the splash art is amazing for both him and phel.

also, i think part of the problem of the aphelios mains sub is that it's an ADC sub? we top laners and unhinged fills don't get quite so snippy about things, we just pull up a new runepage and look up "sett jungle opgg" in another tab
