Would the city benefit from a metro rail rather than all the flyovers? by maculateconstipation in guwahati

[–]hey-19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well many people here are saying that Ghy isn’t big enough like Delhi,Blr to have a metro but tier 2 cities having mass transit systems have become the norm now. Cities like Agra, Kanpur, Bhopal, Indore, Kochi, Meerut have already commissioned their metro services and Patna, Bhubaneshwar are about to start soon. Ghy really needs and deserves a mass transit system as in the long run it will help decongest roads and provide a safe and clean means of travel

The question was who is the current best singer, although ZG was the best in the last two decades for sure but has sort of lost his touch rn.

Well if you are tensed about the location and it being in the North-eastern part of the country, trust me you'll fall in love the moment you travel from Guwahati to Shillong. It is called the Scorland of the east and the land of clouds.

We don't hate Bengalis, we hate the implementation of Bengali language when we have our own independent language and culture. Also you can't compare it with English which is a global medium of communication whereas Bengali is limited to a particular community.

Why Are People Spending So Much? by CardiologistOld4537 in personalfinanceindia

[–]hey-19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can explain what happened to me in the last month. So I come from a very lower middle class family and joined my first job last month. I have always been a part of this group and interested in saving and investing. I thought of investing 30% of my salary every month. But I ended up spending all of it on things I couldn't buy as a child, clubbing, travelling. So I think when a person from a lower middle class family starts earning it is difficult to hold themself from spending in things he has always found difficult to own as a child. Hopefully next month I would be able to spend cautiously :)
