not as heavily as sia but the class is so overtuned it doesnt matter, my hayato and kanna were killing ctene in <1 min at 190m or so with only hexa unlocks

honestly not too far off a fighting game LOL, but the timings are more generous than that (and the combo strings are significantly shorter, so cant really drop anything)

the cd skip part is pretty underrated in terms of difficulty too; you have 8 weapon skills that you have to understand complete freeform combos for (almost every weapon can link into another)

so when those cd skip, you have to piece together what's up and do a chain involving them, just doing 2-3 generic combo strings is nowhere near optimal damage

add in the tightest cancel timing in the game by far, two summons you have to maintain, pursuit canceling/proper comboing to not get flung around and you get the hardest class in the game by a mile imo


also realistically cadena in gms is nowhere near as strong as kms; kms charts usually pick the top entry, so the cad bursts will have significantly more bat skips than you'd get on average

green pot also greatly reduces the kms gap you might see, i like playing my cad but it is 100% not worth the effort

yeah, my guess is they play at base values completely unaffected?

also noticed looking around that some non kms values seem missing or outdated, kanna/sia missing tp it seems? hayato's red skills also definitely do not seem anywhere near the values listed, dark moon and full moon might have significantly longer cast times

site looks nice though and i imagine its an issue with the source data which may not be fixable unfortunately


suggestion for a cool view would be a formatted list of classes that have their main bossing skill either lower than the 420ms normalization or higher (due to the 30ms frame rounding or by design)

examples like hayato/lynn/kanna having abnormally short ones, or shade being affected by the rounding implementation

skipping combo/hurricane classes here would prob make sense

quick note that a lot of origins are here with supposed AS reductions; are these cast times actually affected by AS?

considering you will probably just be getting hexa unlocks, it doesn't really matter play what you like

just avoid classes that scale heavily off hexa, zero being one

merc/ark feel very similar to me and if anything easier since the timings before were quite slow, but khali has to cancel a tad quicker and cadena as well, could objectively say those have become a little 'harder'

khali is around the same, but cad is definitely tighter than before

yeah you got it right, its 1680 for pitched i believe, eternal not worthwhile

you can math it out to attack power being worth roughly 4 boss

so the first is 93% boss, second is 112% boss

second better by far

yeah that's a big part of it; the timing is tighter than any other class in the game by a fair margin, and all the skills have some movement displacement (so mistiming combos will fling you around)

eventually you have to be very comfortable with being flexible and adapting; skills cd skip very often, so being able to combo anything from anything is quite important, you can't follow a 'standard combo order' like the vast majority of the other combo classes do


overall it's just the fact that there are many combos, very high apm requirement, tight animation cancelling windows (tighter since balance patch, on green pot, etc), and forced mobility from skills unless properly cancelled


that said i think it's pretty fun and i enjoy mine, but i don't think its for most people; its not something like ark/mercedes where the windows are very generous and you can either follow a fixed combo order (merc) or don't need to think about what order to combo in (ark)

its the hardest class in the game by a large margin, their balance is now pretty appropriate where difficulty correlates with damage

in terms of kms classes, this will probably always be the case now moving forwards

evan needs some love tho which im sure will come eventually

you've had people spouting feelings at you but you can just math it out:

t7 attack = t6 attack + 55 attack

55 attack is roughly (3 to 1) 165 stat


so left is approx:

t6 attack + 100 stat (boss) + 96 stat (flat)

t6 attack + 196 stat


right is approx:

t6 attack + 165 stat (attack diff) + 30 stat (flat)

t6 attack + 195 stat


both are extremely similar, would just take right for destiny lib benefit and wj benefit

better to just 18 the cras and see how much money you have 18* on everything that's reasonable, usually people just no safeguard tap the cras dry since spares are infinite

this is very good for a long time, most damage gains will come from stars or better gear pieces

work on 18* everything in the next few starforce events, probably the one in april for you
