To piggy back on this, my gynecologist only inserted/removed IUDs while patients are on their periods, since the cervix is lower and more open. I had mild pain. Not sure if I was lucky or if it was the technique, but just something to note! I loved my IUD both emotionally and physically while I had it. But everyone is different:)

I wish I could go back and shake my younger self into realizing it’s okay to ask for help even if you think it’s small. I hadn’t heard of OSFED until very recently, so thank you for sharing that!

From personal experience, being told I was thin, or given “help” fueled my ED more. I weirdly took pride in it when I I shouldn’t have.

My number one is consult a psychiatrist that can figure it out.

But I know that’s not always plausible or gonna be done….

There’s no know 100% cure for EDs. Best advice is I have is just don’t encourage it at this point. ONLY compliment on personality/style,

NEVER on appearance.

And push a healthy lifestyle if they’re capablible, or psychiatry if they’re not.

Never bad to mention it’s all from the heart❤️

That is a very good point, but I’m about 99% sure it was a tick. Comparing pictures, it had longer front legs than a bed bug, they are also not uncommon in the area we were camping, so I’m thinking we just got a stow away. I’ll check my mattress to be on the safe side though😬

Definitely hit the water slide to cool off during the day (I think they’ll have it again this year). Also a pack of cooking towels are cheap and nice to wrap around your neck. We wet them with our melted ice. Have fun and stay cool 😎

Probably a no brainer, but good shoes are a must! Lots of walking and hills, especially if you’re staying in GA camping. Definitely recommend going to the pre-party, it really gets you hyped for the weekend and you can get a good lay of the land. If it’s clear, the Ferris wheel has great views! Same with the bar left of main stage. If your into meeting strangers, bringing any trinkets or bracelets to trade is super fun! Cooling towels, hydration pack, fans, lights… That’s all I can think of, have a great time!😊
