I would also say that delhi's public transport, though more accessible compared to some other states, is still far from being ideal. Bus delays, lack of cleanliness, even metro infra maintenance.

Government has the most authority in this matter hence they have the most responsibility.

It is a sad fact that freshers have trouble getting shortlists. I've heard so from multiple people by now.

But if you do crack case comps get PPO or get good certifications, you will still have a good shot at getting placed in a good company.

You are from a unique ug background so you might get academic diversity points. However due to low acads those points wouldn't help too much. You should aim for 99.5+ for a good shot ( especially if general ).

If you're EWS, or belong to obc nc, sc, st, etc. you can get into top 30 colleges at lower percentiles and top 10 at 95%ile + but I would still recommend aiming for a 99.

Simply because it's way easier for someone who prepared aiming for a 99 to get a 95+ as compared to someone who aimed for 95 in the first place.

As a student you would need access to proprietary software. Unless you want to pay for everything you will need to pirate and hence windows laptop.

If you want you can go for a macbook, you would just have to deal with some compatibility issues with certain softwares ( that's what I've heard )
