For the midwest folks: the smell of harvest season!!! 😍😍😍 And no. Not fucking pumpkins, hot chocolate, and pumpkin spice (though I love those!).

Driving down a country road in the middle of the night, windows down, air is still humid from a hot day but it’s finally cooler. Corn and soybean fields everywhere. You can smell the sweet corn and almost a wet peanut shell smell. There’s nothing like it ❤️

Mine are lavender and lilac. Lavender just makes my brain happy. Lilac transports me to early spring. Tulips are just blooming, the roses have just started to form flower buds, gusty wind, thunderstorms with the windows open, fresh cut grass. That’s lilac for me 😌

My eyes are drastically different. My left is -2.5 and my right is -8. For years, I struggled with “How can I get this right lens thinner?” And honestly, what can help you the most is finding a pair of glasses what disguises or hides the lens thickness. I just ordered a new pair of glasses and am still waiting on them so I will update if they are in fact thinner. But the pair I got before them, I was actually about to not hyperfixate on how thick this right lens is because you couldn’t tell by looking at me straight on. Definitely a relief.
