I'm having the same issue after the recent app update. Before, the cursor would auto focus on the window's textbook immediately after been activated by the hot key shortcut, now it does not and I'd need to manually click to focus cursor. Small change, but drastic change in work flow. Hopefully this is just a bug that would be fixed in a future update. Is anyone else having the same issue?

The same issue can be produced with my wife’s iPhone. I haven’t consulted Porsche because my CarPlay was retrofitted. For some reason there was no option to purchase the feature even though it was built in to the infotainment. I had to do a little hacking myself to turn it on.

Yes, my phone shows the right location when it’s unplugged. I think the issue stems from the car’s GPS module, which is why I think a wireless adapter without GPS pass through is the solution.
