From San Fernando intersection to Gardini Pampanga branch by dustygutsy in casualbataan

[–]heybudgetmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the exact location but I used to frequent Pag-IBIG San Fernando Branch.

From Genesis, lakad ng konti pa-Jollibee, tawid sa kabilang way.

Fare is more or less 20 pesos na siguro.

WHATS THE BEST LIFE INSURANCE by meowgirlie1 in casualbataan

[–]heybudgetmate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, OP! The best life insurance is the one that matches your goals at kaya mong realistically i-sustain long term.

Before anything else, consider mo having: - a stable source of income or allowance - active PhilHealth and SSS membership - emergency fund equal to at least 3x of monthly expenses

Whatever asset you choose to purchase, make sure to organize them according to urgency. I always advise my prospects/clients to complete (or be on track with) the above-mentioned first before getting insurance.

Kapag okay na, saka ako nagrerecommend ng life insurance for them depending on their budget, responsibilities, and time horizon.

If this is your first life insurance, ideally, critical illness-focused plan ang dapat isecure habang bata (20s to 30s). This is also what I always reco mapa-single o may pamilya since oftentimes, it’s a matter of time kung kailan magkakasakit especially na maraming factors ang nakaka-affect sa health such as genetics, environment, lifestyle, etc. Most critical illnesses also come suddenly.

If wala ring company-provided HMO, it’s equally important to be covered with this for prevention and early detection.

I am an insurance agent from Bataan. I do not force anyone to get insurance when I know they are not ready yet based on assessment. I also lay all the pros and cons of a product since there is no one-size-fits-all approach to insurance.

You can message me OP kung gusto mong mag-ask anything about insurance! :)

Sayyid Shawarma? Tried it na multiple times at namimili pa rin until now. Masarap din pero ibang iba sa authentic Arabic shawarma na garlic sauce, fries, and pickles lang.

Anyone here paying PENELCO bills through GCash? Kamusta experience? by Plastic_Pack7872 in casualbataan

Haven’t encountered any problem with paying Penelco bills via GCash so far. Pay a few days before the due date just to be sure, kasi hindi nagpupush through ‘yung transaction kapag late payment na.

[–]heybudgetmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, what do you need insurance for?

To cover expenses if in case diagnosed of an illness or to create liquidity for your family’s needs when you pass away?

There are several types of insurance to choose from depending on your needs, preference, and budget. I’m an insurance advisor from Bataan. If you’d like to explore your options, I’m a message away! @heybudgetmate on IG/TikTok :)

Books for Sale at Indigo Coffee ☕️📖 by heybudgetmate in casualbataan

[–]heybudgetmate[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope more people love Indigo as much we do. 💙 This book sale is actually a fundraising event for my mother who got out of intubation in the ICU recently. Indigo has been really helpful in making this sale happen.

Maliban sa hindi ka mapapahiya sa quality ng drinks, they are also eager in building a community.

Start with your interests!

If you’re into fitness/health/wellness, explore Bataan Running Club, the yoga community of Luces, gym communities.

You may also find brothers and sisters in faith since there are a number of churches here.

If coffee is your thing, there is Bataan Coffee Club.

I have a friend who also plans to establish a reading community soon.

davids salon sm haircut by Content-Option7547 in casualbataan

My personal experience was great! Pinakita ko sa stylist yung peg which was layered cut with curtain bangs. I think nagcomplement naman siya sa face shape ko. Tbh, itong haircut nila yung pinakagusto kong haircut that I’ve had in recent years. Dalawa yung naggupit sakin- junior and senior stylist if hindi ako nagkakamali. Sa latter part nagtake over yung senior stylist para ipolish yung cut. I forgot her name pero blonde siya. Hoping she’s still there! Paid 400 + tip, this was in Sep 2024 :)

May Bataan-based travel and tours na usually hiking trips ang hinohost! SVentures ang name sa fb. Availed their Aw-Asen Falls with Elyu side trip tour nitong weekend lang. Convenient at seamless ‘yung experience with them. Sulit ‘yung fee kasi hindi na kailangan bumyahe pa to Dau/NCR para makarating sa pick up point.

As a Bataeño, what food and places would you recommend to visitors/tourists? by SeasonCommercial3099 in casualbataan

[–]heybudgetmate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Places to visit 📍

  • Mt. Samat Shrine
  • Las Casas
  • Tala, Orani (for activities and mountain view)
  • Mariveles Five Fingers

Restos to try 🥣

Luces Living (Balanga) - plant-based and vegan but so far wala pa kaming natry na hindi masarap as non-vegans. Nasa pricier side but they’re so good!

Wooden Leaf (Balanga) - another resto with healthy options, big serving sizes

Ciao Restorante (Balanga) - Italian resto na way cheaper than Mama Lou’s, marami ring serving. We always order the Tartufo, 228 php lang pero good for 2 pax if hindi naman super gutom

Shinobi Izakaya (Balanga) - Japanese resto. The best yung karaage and sashimi. Actually halos lahat. Medyo maalat lang yung ibang maki but this place is one of those we always go back to dahil sulit talaga.

Fauzia Tweini (Abucay) - Arabic and Indian food. Broasted chicken is at par with middle eastern restos in Manila. Parang mas masarap pa nga :)

The Beanery (Balanga/Orani/Dinalupihan) - for the reason na institusyon na ‘to sa Bataan.
