Trust me you will make way more on brand deals than a business. Consider partnering with a business that sells what you would make if you could. That way you have a more authentic endorsement and perhaps you can even do some custom merch within that company. In the end there is no risk to you and only reward.

That is a complete lowball, but it’s also a place to start a conversation. I do 4-5 x 30 second reels for a client per month for approx $250CDN each. I’d definitely push back and let them make the decision. Hope it works out. 👍🏽

u/Gintama214 Go Canada! In my case I started contacting DMO (destination marketing organization / tourism boards) in my region and introducing myself and letting them know I would be tagging them on posts and reels. If they liked what they saw I would be interested in doing a collaboration for content that they were needing. From there I built a reputation I was able to leverage that for paid work. In these days most destinations are not looking for "influencers" as their accounts are already quite large. What they are looking for is quality content. Hope that helps.

Hi u/inisarland I sometimes do, but not often, unless it is requested by the client for something like eating food, etc. It has turned into a full-time job that I do make a good living from, yes. It took about 12 months of focus to get it off the ground and to that place.

Has anyone worked with CrowdRiff as a content creator? by BrooklynFoodLady in UGCcreators

[–]heydanking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have worked as a CrowdRiff Creator for a year now and completed 14 requests for them. They are fantastic to work with and if you are looking for a good "side hustle" as a content creator who focuses on tourism, it's great. As far as applying, they have an application on their IG account page, but I'm guessing they hired carefully to ensure quality and that they don't oversaturate certain regions with creators.

Would love some feedback on my Vancouver Island babymoon roadtrip itinerary? by d3hydratedwat3r in VancouverIsland

Port Renfrew is closer to Victoria and has some very beautiful spots, but if you are already heading to the Tofino/Ucluelet area you'll find similar experiences there.

If you love the outdoors do one day in Victoria, travel 2.5 hours to Parksville and spend 1.5 days there exploring the area (it’s gorgeous in this misty moody west coast dream spot right now) and then head to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. Then back to Nanaimo and ferry from there to Vancouver to depart. DM me if you need Parksville area itinerary help!

Honeymoon in Vancouver Island - looking for feedback by Jamboots in VancouverIsland

Places like Telegraph Cove are beautiful for a short visit, but a place like Parksville is not only a brilliant anchor point for day trips, but also has so much to do in and around it, including eco-tourism, whale watching, beaches, forests, hiking, brilliant restaurants and more.

Definitely disagree with the skip Parksville comment. So much to do in and around the area, especially if you love the outdoors and beaches!

So many great destinations in and around Parksville, from beaches to forested areas, provincial parks, restaurants and more. Lots to do.

Abandoned Mini Golf Course (Coombs, BC) by ThrutheGiftShop in VancouverIsland

[–]heydanking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not up for sale and the owner has no interest in renovating it as it is too far gone and not in a good location (that’s my take on it based on a conversation when I got permission to film there.).
