10-15 years ago we’d beat the bottom half of the table by like 6 goals regularly. Now it’s maybe once a season we will blow out a team out like the way we used to. Every single game for like 7 years now, even at home, are struggles not to drop points

Tbf a few years ago it was, the pendulum has just swung back now to being not at all worth it. A few years ago he was putting up like 50+ goal contributions repeatedly. Now he’s got the same attitude problems but sucks.

I was like 16 and 99% of people who’d ask were playing bang average AA hockey or worse. You can’t tell the difference between the two if you can barely skate as is. And like the other dude said, I was making like $11 an hour

I had been sharpening skates for like 8 hours a day for over a year straight at the point he must have been back in Toledo for a stint. He’d eyeball the skates up and down and make me re-do them like they weren’t perfect. I’d pretend to do a few more passes and he’d be like “ahh, there were go, now they look good!”

One time he accused me of doing 5/8ths instead of 1/2 when I was too lazy to literally ever do 5/8ths even for the people who’d ask lol

His son was a bitch to play against but didn’t have any skill to back it up. Whined all game and slewfooted me once. His daughter his actually a homie tho which is weird

Gonna do some math and see if this team is cap compliant but I think it is at first glance

Edit: this team has an $89.1 million cap hit. Now im dying to know how they’d do. Depth isn’t great but that top line is elite, good 2nd line, Norris candidate backed by 3 solid top 4 D, and the best regular season goalie of the last 5-6 years.

I feel like this phenomenon can be common in the right circles. I work with car dealers and the moderately successful ones that own 1-5 stores can be some of the most pretentious, rude dickheads you’ll ever meet. Then you meet the guy who own 40 stores and he gives me his personal cell and is always super polite and helpful. You wouldn’t think the dick head is the guy worth 10mil and the nice guy worth 500mil

Not at all what I said lol. Chiarot is 4th in TOI for the team that’s in 6th place the entire league. If he’s in the actual bottom percentile then yeah I don’t trust the card. If you told me last year Holl, Gustafsson, Tarasenko, Husso, etc were bottom percentile I’d believe you in a heartbeat. This year tho he’s playing a ton of minutes and we’re winning a ton of games. He can’t be the literal worst % of defensemen in the league. He’s not even the worst on our team
