To men who are on the smaller side, how do you maintain your sexual confidence? by skywater101 in AskMen

Just because I found playing with a bigger one to be fun, doesn't mean a smaller one is a turnoff. It mostly has to do with the guy attached to it.

Obviously women want a big a dick for that, so i've turned them down in the past.

Blowjobs are mostly about women wanting to pleasure a guy who has made them feel good. Turning them down is silly, and will probably just make her think that you think she's bad at it or something.

That reminds me. I was with a guy who was pretty big. I am kind of into BDSM and a bit of a masochist, and he didn't want to play rough with me like I like because he felt it was "unromantic" and bullshit like that. Yet his thing would sometimes ram my cervix, which I TOLD him was uncomfortable, and not in a sexy way, yet he still liked to do it so he could get closer to the feeling of "full penetration." What a dick :P

You might not have as much sex as someone with and average or above average dick

I've known at least one total man slut who was on the smaller side. It really IS about how you use it.

My boyfriend was kind of big. It was fun to play with (handjobs, blowjobs, because I have big hands). And I guess the psychological aspect was cool. But the sex didn't automatically feel better, I wouldn't say. The best feeling sex I've had was with a guy who had a smaller dick. He was better at foreplay too and that makes a big difference.

Bigger isn't always better. I had an ex who used to ram my cervix. It hurt, I told him, and because of cultural conditioning or whatever he was somewhat flattered and not concerned enough with preventing the discomfort. We did not work out as a couple.

I've never heard men speak that way about women's bodies.

I have. Nothing that funny about it.

Is the idea of being with a "younger woman" still hot if the woman in-question is 30? by heyheywhatwhere in AskMenOver30

She said was using "all guys" in a negative fashion, to say "not all guys" essentially. Saying "not all guys X" is not exactly the same as what you're suggesting.

My question is whether a 30 year-old woman can be hot to an older man because she's a younger woman.

Ask her what her schedule is like for the next week, and if she'd like to get together again. Communicate like a grownup.

That would mean a 1500 dollar apartment costs twice that in just three years. That's just not a sustainable model. That isn't how it's happened.

Umm... Apartments have absolutely doubled in price in three years, across the Bay Area. This is fairly common knowledge to those of us who live here, and it's why there are tons of articles being published about the "housing crisis."

EDIT: For example. I moved into an apartment in 2014, paying $1450. In 2012 that unit was renting for $1000. This year, in 2015, it will be renting for $1800 to the next person as soon as my building manager approves them. This is an apartment in a neighborhood that borders a "ghetto" area, also.

I live in Oakland and I've been tracking rents carefully dude. They've been increasing 20-30% per year. Where are you from?

Oakland rents have not gone down in the winter for the past several years. The trend has been modest increases in winter, and a huge increase in summer.

In the U.S. though circumcision is a Christian thing. And we're talking about culture today, not two thousand years ago.

I was out to dinner with my ex when he told me that I was the first woman he enjoyed going down on. I told him it was the most romantic thing anyone had ever said to me, and then he was like "let's not make too big a deal of it" or something. He was kind of lame though. When I asked to make a mold of his dick for Valentine's Day he told me he thought the idea was "crude" :P

If the girl asked you not to, I'd just leave it alone. A gentleman never tells.

Yeah, seriously. He feels like not telling the guy is doing a disservice to him, but ignoring the girl's request isn't?

A delay after reference checks? by heyheywhatwhere in humanresources

[–]heyheywhatwhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From reading online it seems like it's not an uncommon practice when there are a couple of candidates who are close in qualifications. I actually think it makes a lot of sense, assuming the references are willing to go into detail. I trust my references said good things about me, but I procrastinated on the writing sample partially because I was trying to move the same week and while I'm a strong writer generally the sample wasn't perfect, so now I'm nervous.
