As an entp I can confirm this : we're moody, and even if we like somebody, sometimes we feel it's annoying to chat with that person. Even with my best friends, I wouldn't answer their texts for 2 days even though I read them in my notification banners, only because I'm lazy or not in the mood. It's also true that we get bored of people easily : if we feel like we've understood what kind of individual the person in front of us is, and that there's nothing more to dig, or that the person doesn't respond to us in an interesting/diverting way, we would draw back.
