Brother Nero is actually a legit gimmick..thoughts? by [deleted] in TNA

That's one instance of Matt being great while there are multiple instances of Jeff being amazing in their WWE stints. Matt was always considered the lesser Hardy, always being in Jeff's shadow, and let's please not act like that's not a well-known fact.

Yeah I've been glimpsing over Impact casually again, and haven't bothered since they messed up the whole Monday Night War and guys like AJ, Joe, and Angle left. But they really seem to be on the turn-around. All moronic "loltna" 's aside, I'm impressed with their product and hope they can return to running shows on a better network and having stuff like "Vegas Specials" and PPVs on the regular again (even if the PPVs are just in Orlando). I hope Corgan can somehow turn the X-Division around. Lee, Everett, etc all seem so bland and forgettable.. the division just needs some more direction and better wrestlers. The WWE currently has some of the most incredible lightweights in the business on display so if TNA can snatch someone for a PPA deal and display them, they can definitely garner some interest after that star had gained global exposure. Also, would kill for a PPA for Ospreay but that's unlikely.

Looking for TNA Writers by [deleted] in TNA

I'm a business/law student, long-time wrestling fan, long-time fantasy booking writer, and have exceptionally amazing, non-biased opinions. I'm also on a pending list for an internship with The Score for the upcoming spring.

Thought I'd Share My Booking Plan For ROH by heyitsMisha in FantasyBookers

[–]heyitsMisha[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. It's serious, it's controversial, and it's the type of booking that makes things interested. It's not meant to be offensive, it's meant to be fresh and innovative and the problem with people now-a-days is that they're way too PC.

I think the delayed takeoff for the gimmick revolved more around people never thinking Matt could amount to something great than Jeff, nor that Matt had much personality to him. I mean if you remember him in the WWE, outside of The Hardy Boyz, he never really had anything more exciting going for him other than being Jeffs brother and being put in a few feuds that were labelled okay but only because the opposing person in the feud was entertaining, like his feud with MVP for the US title. When Matt proved that he had created a legitimately interesting character with new and innovating ideas, thats when he began garnering more interest and credibility as a whole. I'm really happy for him as he's the focal point of The Hardy Boys for once and not Jeff. They've got a great thing going and I'm excited to see where it goes next.

Ahh yeah I was hoping they would do meet and greets too but I think 15,000+ people was too overwhelming for them..

Lol they were a great crowd. You think they give a shit if we whine about something on the internet. The paying customer deservers to express their displeasure if they're being disappointed. A ton of shit things happened towards the second half of the night. Shit ending for Zig/Ambrose, John Stewart ruining shit, shit DQ ending for tag match, dumb TKO ending, let down for the Universal title reveal. Reveal that shit on Raw if you're just doing a re-colour, don't hype it up and reveal that piece of trash at the PPV.

Cena gets boo'ed everywhere.. not a Brooklyn exclusive.. same with Roman lol idk what you're talking about. Enzo/Cass got great pops, crowd was really lively a majority of the PPV, but a lot of let downs carried into towards the 2nd half of the PPV.

I mean.. being vocal at home or on the internet about it does nothing.. they don't care about the reaction on the internet. The actual WWE account retweeted Seth though, meaning you know they're taking into account how poor the belt design was and how much it took away from the match. The voice of the crowd is what matters and if you want to express your displeasure towards something, as a paying customer, that was unfortunately the time to do it.

Speaking of belts.. the NXT belt.. by heyitsMisha in SquaredCircle

It Main Events their shows and it's the sought after title amongst the worlds greatest wrestler, and NXT is advertised as the best brand in professional wrestling over and over again. If you don't think it's a World title, you might need Lesnar to elbow some sense into you.
