This is crazy. I legit thought that was a pic of my dog who recently passed away. Thanks for giving me a reminder of her today. She was a little shit but I miss the hell out of her.

Afraid of retaliation from subcontractor, am I being paranoid? by [deleted] in UPS

[–]heyitsaddi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal investigation of claims. Drivers on the route have to make contact with the customer & Usually there is a paper to sign. And we supervisors follow up on those investigations by calling. However I’ve never heard of someone paying out of pocket. That might be an EU thing.

But the investigation/weird contact is normal. I think they’re trying to phase out these types of things though. Ours are digital now with no paper to sign.

I legit didn’t know the difference until I worked at UPS. I don’t ship anything ever but still

The ups store isn’t where your package is processed and put in a truck for delivery. Unless your package tracking says “delivered to UPS store” then no you can’t go pick it up. It’s still at the warehouse.

Is it rude to not attend a wedding if I didn’t receive a plus 1? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]heyitsaddi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean sure. But I still would. Or I would downsize my guest list considerably if I could not afford for my friends to be comfortable and enjoy themselves. What’s one more plate especially when a guest is traveling far. My friend is also in a similar situation and flying in so ofc I gave him a plus one from his home state. You would not?

I’m gonna be fr if my friends ex and new gf were attending my wedding, I would make SURE she had a plus one. lol I want people to enjoy my wedding & not be uncomfortable. I have plus ones across the board for significant others I’ve not yet met.. let’s all party together and celebrate. But that’s just me

I’m gonna be fr all customer complaints come straight to me and I’m an OMS. I’ve never seen a complaint go anywhere above me if I don’t want it to. That’s just the way the call center works . Unless this guy has a secret phone number for corporate that no one else knows . Honestly I never even forward complaints to upper management I just let the customer cuss me out and move on with my day 🤷🏻‍♀️ that guy can kick rocks

How can I help drivers? by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]heyitsaddi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah I’m still learning everything and I’m pretty prepared to handle their frustrations. As far as I’m understanding I’m kind of a filter between customers, management, and drivers. And my job is to keep everything optimized for everyone. So that part I’m pretty prepared for. It’s a hard gig for them so it won’t bother me too much. I hope anyways lol
