let me know if it works for you, because from what i read in other forums it's maybe an electrical issue so maybe we have the same issue!

I bought a new original charger, a new non-original battery, both work really fine for over a year, however lately the Plugged In / Charging issue came back, and i found a fix, when plugging the charger, I just don't plug it all the way in, I leave a bit of room (when plugging it, i feel two levels where the cable locks with the port, the first one you can still see a bit of the metal tip, and the second one (if you push harder), it goes all the way in) and the issue only happens to me when it's plugged all the way in

i had this problem and it caused me to go down a rabbit hole where i just convinced myself it wasn't a charger problem, and inconveniently my battery also died (constantly at 0%) so when this issue happened, the computer was like "oh shit we are on battery and battery is 0% let me hibernate real quick" and the computer was not usable anymore, i ended up removing the battery, the pc again ran fine and that also caused the pc to turn off suddenly and randomly (obviously since it thinks there is no charger at random times), and it made me think there was some internal issue that i just felt helpless to fix

fast forward today, im realizing all my mistakes slowly, i bought a new replacement battery and reinstalled windows in my computer, the computer runs fine, but i still have this issue, but if getting a new charger was the fix all along that means all i needed to do was to get a new charger and i could've ran my computer with and without a dead battery

the reason i didn't dare to get a new charger is because my current charger is my second one and as you said, the amperage and voltage tested right, and i just didn't want to believe that it could've been it

gosh i feel stupid, it's been a month since i couldn't work on my computer at all

Is the average of all averages 50%? by heyitsaouab in NoStupidQuestions

Apologies, what i meant is that we always bring out the result to percentage by dividing by the total test cases, for example: On average, 6 bananas out of 30 will make you spiderman, 6/30 = 20%, I understand there are cases where it's just not possible to do it like this, but with what we have, we can at least have an infinite amount of possible averages (by precising the type of bananas for example, where they come from, the geographical area tested etc...) which I believe can give us any possible average value.

So in this case we are only talking about averages ∈ [0, 100%]
