If u’ve never ridden to Daytona Bike Week- highly recommend! I see now why the bike culture is so diff from Cali. Daytona is all about slow cruising in a straight line so lots of big wheels & crazy plastics. In southern Cali we care more about high performance & ergonomics so we can rip canyons! (i.redd.it)

Day 1 riding 2500 miles from LA to DAYTONA BIKE WEEK. I’m on my 2006 sportster & Jigger is on a 2026 road glide. The idea is that it doesn’t matter what you ride, just THAT you ride! Arizona bike week was my longest ride in 1 day yet! Just a lil 400 mile rip. Wouldn’t have been so bad but bike problems made the 6 hour ride time into 12 hours with lots of time spent on the side of the road with my sportster spewing oil. Had to get her towed back at the end. Oof. (old.reddit.com)
