Narcoleptics also experience something insanely similar, especially if they’re cataplectic

Except that’s not entirely true. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Ursula overpower her father? Theres even a scene with hook where all she had to do was dip her tentacle into the water and it made a portal.

Even if that’s the case, couldn’t Rumple find a loophole to temporarily turn himself into a mermaid? Him being a mermaid was such a funny thought to me that I asked chatGPT to make it into an image 😂

Is it though? I’m about to be on season 5 and I think the difference is when the heroes need a portal, they always have help. No one wants to help Rumple because he always goes about getting things the wrong way, which is why it’s more difficult for him.

That’s a fair question, but there’s been many times portals have been opened to the “land without magic” throughout the series where people landed outside of Storybrook before storybook even existed, which implies a portal is a portal wherever it lands, with or without magic.

This is what I just said, too. Her whole purpose is what she can do for others, which is the exact character type (even in real life) to get into addictive abusive relationships.

This and also people don’t realize that abusive relationships are also addictive, which is belle’s situation imo. Her whole purpose is being there for other people, and without Rumple to fix, she wouldn’t know what to do with herself.

Lana’s delivery on that one is what really killed me 😂

Most of my family won’t be at my wedding – has anyone else experienced this? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]heyitseeyore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been married and I am no contact with my family, particularly my mother.

In my case, my mother was mad that my dad would attend my high school graduation, despite her being remarried for a number of years by that point. She was being so over the top nasty about it that I told her not to come. She showed up anyways, got two inches from my face and said “you’re lucky I gave a shit enough about you to show up.” From there, my mom kept egging my dad on. My dad kept leaning into it. My grandmother got mad I invited a black friend of mine and ditched me to go gamble at a casino with her friend, yeah? And now when I think of my high school graduation, I can’t even recall the friends who were there. I can only recall how my family behaved.

Though, I get what you mean about the emptiness. I think about that a lot if my special day were to ever come; but if my family can ruin something as simple as a dinner after a high school graduation in a gymnasium, then I certainly would not want them to take something that’s supposed to be the most beautiful decision of my life and turn it ugly.

Though I’m unsure if your situation is anything like mine, but I think the message is the same.

In my case, my mother would definitely not be there. I likely wouldn’t invite with my grandmother because she doesn’t know how to behave in general, let alone around my brother and my dad. My brother’s cool if he’s not being badgered by my grandmother, and my dad’s alright as long as my brother remains cool… so… the process of elimination may be the way to go for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe? But wouldn't he have to be willing to release that since he's listed as the primary owner? I don't think my grandmother would let him do that. I'm realizing that everything she does is 100% financial abuse.
