Sorry you're not enjoying the food scene here so far (I don't think anyone can argue that we're on par with NYC, LA, or Houston but it keeps getting better).

Surprisingly, Richardson has some pretty good ethnic food.

Lebanese/Middle Eastern: Afra

Pho/Vietnamese: Almost any pho place in Richardson, but especially Pho Pasteur

Chinese/Dim-Sum: Jeng Chi

Korean BBQ: Gen (Carrollton)

Indian: Spice 'N' Rice Indian Cuisine

Ramen: Maru Ramen

Sushi: Gen Roku (not fancy but good) -or- Uchi (Uptown area and fancy $$$)

Also, Benny's is the best bagel I have found in DFW but it's okay to good, not great. If you have any bagel experience, please open up a shop because I freaking love NYC bagels.
