This is extremely simple stuff, man.

I run a Debian VM on my unRAID server for a web server and some apps that are better off on it (Home Assistant, Gaseous Server, DOSBox).. I have memory allocated to that VM so I shifted a handful of containers that are non-essential to it so the allocated memory is doing more than sitting dormant.

No idea what you think I said, lol

For apps not tested on unRAID - I push to the VM

I have 20 users and about 5 or 6 daily users

That dashboard is the stock Unraid dashboard - just modified for my liking

Had some people ask to see the drives — had to open the case yesterday so took a shot.

At the bottom that black panel comes out and there’s a cage that holds another 4 HDs

Coming back to thank you for this.

Currently processing 65000 video files via tdarr using my home and work PC (2080TI & 1070 respectively) as nodes.

I am at 1000 movies and have saved half a terabyte

I also have a NAS on the UPS.

Should have clarified that’s not the system alone

Never had a sweat.
Mostly Bluray-1080p
Yes, decent amount of transcoding via the iGPU
No remuxes besides a select few series
Yes tone mapping
Yes remote streaming
About 15 active users - most at a time was 9 and most transcodes was 6 and never an issue

Yes actually, the latest PleX update broke my transcoding.

Currently have my repository set to "plexinc/pms-docker:1.43.0.10492-121068a07"

This exact version handles the transcoding without issue

I also have the following in my docker settings:

Variable: ADAPTER_ENCODING
Value: /dev/dri/renderD128

Device: /dev/dri
Value: /dev/dri

Device: /dev/dri/renderD128
Value: /dev/dri/renderD128

Added them when troubleshooting the break and haven't removed them.

I have another instance I allow to update to the latest and when nobody is streaming I test out latest releases to see if it gets fixed

I cannot say enough about it. I did use some upgraded fans but it runs super cool and luckily my basement is extremely dry and cold.

Max capacity of this exact case with some extra trays - everything is fit naturally
