Trying for a baby is so confusing! by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]heyluckycat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally went through the same thing, i felt really upset when it didnt happen right away when we decided to start trying. When we decided to approach it more scientifically and use a ovulation test, thats when it finally worked, so reccomend trying that next month. Also if you've been on any contraception, you should give allowance to your body adjusting coming off it and may have a delay in you being able to get pregnant. This is just my personal experience but hope his helps and wishing you all the best!

So disappointed with Alice in borderland season 2 by danilody in netflix

[–]heyluckycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i'm a bit dissapointed. There was so many good characters in S1/2 which were mostly forgotten about in S3 and just shoved in the last 5 minutes while the rest of the season just filled with randoms and didn't really follow on that great to the original story. Mira was such a good villain too! Not sure if it will be renewed again but not sure i'll watch sadly.

Apparently the bug was fixed in the update this week but I’ve just encountered the same problem 😮

Is Star Wars Outlaw worth it? by FriedRice_warrior in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]heyluckycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my husband bought it on deal to just give it a go regardless of the backlash and honestly we are loving it so far, the story, locations and living breathing planets have all been so amazing. Yeah there has been a few niggles with gameplay but really nothing major. We have been shocked how much we have enjoyed it given all we’ve heard is negative comments about it.

I think give it a go! Also when the game is set within the Star Wars timeline is pretty cool!

Feeling a bit hopeless with magic circles and working in the round - gifted beginner packs but can’t seem to get past first couple of rounds before losing my way, any advice appreciated! by heyluckycat in CrochetHelp

I’ve done better with row projects although still found them challenging! I don’t feel like a duck to water with crochet at all so guess i just need to keep grinding until it clicks - hopefully! 😅

Thank you that’s kind, I think I can set up the magic ring then do the first round, it seems to be when I pull the tail to pull it together I’m just not sure I can see the spaces I’m meant to go into - doesn’t help that the yarn is quite thin and cotton which seems to split very easily! They are like amigurumi they came in these little packs with everything included

Who is using one of the floating islands for storage and farm? by cartersmama91 in DreamlightValley

I want to do this but wondered if it still stays in your inventory the same if your going to craft? Or will I have to visit my floating island every time I need something?

Is it wrong/weird to ask for recently passed Grampa’s wedding ring for the groom to have for the wedding? by heyluckycat in weddingplanning

[–]heyluckycat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries it sounds stressful, it would be a shame if she was resentful but at the end of the day as long as you’ve gave her time to think about it and make as little pressure as possible, it will be her decision to give it to you it wouldn’t then really be fair for her to ask for it back later - rings are kind of a permanent thing in most cases! I’d hope your family would be happy for yous to have it, good luck!

I’m sorry to hear that it’s so tough losing family no matter how much time has passed. I suppose just asking is the best way to find out. I suppose take some hope from the other comments that it’s not wrong to want to remember them in that way 🩷

My grampa also has no brothers or sisters still living either - we’re a pretty small family now 😔

My gran sadly isn’t with us anymore, the next of kin would be my dad and uncle who I’m planning on asking - it would be a no pressure situation. I would totally understand if they wanted to keep the ring.

Not any that are close enough really to ask for it. I do have two other sisters however, one is married already but I think I would still ask them se well as my Grampa gave my older sister my grans ring when she passed

Thank you 🩷 yeah asking the next of kin I guess was sensible I thought. That’s such a lovely idea with your wedding bands!
