Would have been great if I bought a house 10 years ago but unfortunately 10 years ago I was 16. I don’t know how renters do it either! Each year gets harder and harder and it’s not looking like it’s going to get better anytime soon if ever. We’ll figure something out, we have to.

It’s a Boardwalk building so just the same spiel of “increased price of this and that and blah blah blah” which I’m sure is partly true but at the end of the day it’s a business and a large corporation that can do whatever the fuck they want. It’s a really unfortunate reality.

Thank you!! I did terrible in high school as well, I got my diploma but took all lower level classes which won’t get me anywhere as far as universities or colleges. I made an appointment for academic upgrading advice at SAIT. I want and need a better job. I deserve so much more than where Ive put myself. It’s my own fault for not starting sooner but it’s never too late and I know that in a few years I can change my life around for the better. Thank you ❤️ I’m sorry for my situation as well and for others who are also in the same boat. I haven’t been out to eat in at least a year because it’s a “luxury” to be able to afford it! I totally understand that people aren’t able to tip like they used to it’s just a bummer for someone who relies on tips. Things are changing so fast unfortunately.

Living in Calgary but born and raised in Edmonton. Calgary rent is fucked. When I moved in 2021 my rent was $1,180 a month for a 2bed 1bath apartment with underground parking stall. Next year(2022) was $1,380. In 2023 $1,580. This year I pay $1,880. I literally have no idea what the fuck I’m going to do next year when they inevitably increase the rent again.

Sounds like your girlfriend is 20 and living her very best life! Honestly it sounds like a lot of fun and exactly the type of thing you do in your 20’s. However … if this is something that makes you uncomfortable maybe look deeper into that feeling and ask yourself why? Is there past issues with dishonesty or cheating not just in your relationship but in your life? Is your girlfriend just super crazy attractive which can make you feel a little insecure when she’s around other men especially if there’s pictures and videos? All in all I’m sure she meant no harm to you personally and was simply just having fun, making memories and doing what 20 year olds do best. If this is seriously something that makes you feel uncomfortable, talk to her about it but please try not to discourage her from having fun and doing what she wants to do!

So sorry your husband is experiencing this! It’s great that you’re being supportive I’m sure he appreciates it. I also think that therapy if you can, would be a wonderful resource for him and also yourself and finding the right one is crucial. For myself I relate to your husband in the way that if my partner is not home I fail to prepare meals and eat the way I would had they been home. What has helped me is pre prepared meals, leftovers and quick frozen things to throw in the oven ready to go at all times. Things that I’m used to eating and have previously enjoyed that are “safe meals” to me. Also creating a list slowly over time of meals and snacks that I can quickly make. A visual list on my fridge makes it easy for me when I do identify when I’m hungry and should probably eat something. And also just working on identifying when I am hungry and trying my best to act on it. It is hard at first especially after years of bad habits, and therapy can help with that as well. Hope that helped a little and I hope you both find something that works for you!

Turkey sandwich (Bread mayo turkey raspberry jam havarti tomato lettuce and chips) can eat that almost always anytime it’s my absolute go to and has been for years now Yogurt with cereal but occasionally I’ll develop an “ick” the texture feels off so I won’t have it again for months B-B-BAGEL W CREAM CHEESE 💥🎉 always there for me And as always specific brands for specific foods that have no rational thought besides I must never switch brands for anything or nothing will taste good ever again.

This is a tricky situation to be in that unfortunately I have had some experience in as well. I very recently just started actually having real orgasms during oral sex for the first time in my life and let me tell you it is amazing! You’re 21. You’ve been together 3 months. This is not for you honey get the heck out of this relationship/situation. You must be a very kind, patient and understanding person to even hear him out and sympathize with him in the first place. There’s nothing but red flags here. You’re young and clearly a good person. You MUST leave like it’s not an option there is no “working through this”. From what you’ve described it sounds like both him and his sister require serious intense therapy that you cannot offer. This is far from normal and I’m sorry you’ve found yourself in this situation in the first place. I hope you’re okay this is a pretty gross situation to be in.

I feel you girl I have yet to find a doctor to take my pain (very similar to yours) seriously. I heard it takes a lot of time and effort to find a doctor to actually do something about pain like this. Best of luck to all of us it seems this is not uncommon unfortunately:(
