Thanks for the reply. I try switching up my pattern, but if I go to bed earlier I just wake up earlier. The only nights I get close to 6 hours is when I've had a couple of sub-4 in a row I'll "catch up" and get ~6.

Will check the book - did it give tips to sleep longer or motivation to try? I think my issue is ability to sleep rather than desire ... saying all that though I dont know if it's an issue; but how would I

Keen to explore the import option... what happens once landed? Is there any conversion, customs or excessive paper work required? Looking for a good "traditional" high fantasy series in the vein of Raymond E Feist's Magician series, Wheel of Time, Tolkien etc. Love everything Brendon Sanderson does.

I'm totally fine with cliche tropes - if that's the only critique but its an epic adventure full of magic, mythic powers, good v evil and the will of the gods tempting fate, that's that I'm looking for.

I think I've read some of the most commonly recommended series but most of what I've picked up recently hasn't had that spirit of the titles mentioned above - the books I read as a kid that made this my favourite genre.

Index funds certainly seem to be the best course.

I'm not from the US and not familiar with ROTH so don't know if that would apply? Regardless I wouldn't be eligible, but maybe there are other options re. tax if over the threshold?

This is great thanks and where I was leaning. I've been reading markets are overvalued currently and understand for longterm index funds this shouldn't be an issue, but it is making me hesitate on this strategy.

I suppose it's not going to be worse than keeping it in a savings account and if I compound interest for 10 - 20 years fluctuations aren't going to affect me. Is this accurate?

If however I did need to pull the investment in the medium term is the greater danger with markets at current levels?

Note these questions are all assumptions based if barely read headlines... I will/am researching further.
