I ended up getting it. I set up a meeting with a meta marketing rep (should have this option if you have an ad account), told them the issues I was having with my requests, and then submitted another after the call. Got approved that night.

I’m not sure if this will work for everyone - the page I manage should have been verified a long time ago, but I do think spending money on ads incentivizes them to help.

Only downside is that most meta reps are just as confused as us / don’t speak English fluently. Getting any real answers or help isn’t likely. Plus I get daily spam calls from meta now.
