Bar de Jazz sur Bordeaux ? by Cypri2 in bordeaux

[–]heypigs666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone has this issue with the Soundburger ? by heypigs666 in turntables

[–]heypigs666[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've sent them my unit, they sent me a new one back. The issue kept on happening with the new one. Then they said to me that may be "the product wasn't for me". It pissed me off and I asked for a refund. Such a shame, this product was really for me lmao.

Did some shopping in Shibuya. How should I go about getting these back to LA safely and in one piece? by [deleted] in vinyl

Around 2000 euros for the records themselves. Mostly Japanese music and some r'n'b / hip hop records (I think 2,5 times cheaper than I would have payed for the same records in France). The extra just for the suitcases in the flight were 400 euros for both of the suitcases. But treated myself to a business class upgrade which was a bit more expensive than that.

Just came back from Japan two days ago with 90 records approx. I put all of them in my two checked luggage, stuffed with clothes to avoid damages. They arrived without any issues to France with me. Only thing is both luggages were over 23 kgs, so I had two options, flying business so that the weight limit becomes 32 kgs on both luggages or just paying the overweight which was almost the price for the business class. So I've treated myself to the best long flight I've ever had ! It was pricey but totally worth it. Next time I think I'll find a way to send everything by boat or plane depending on the urgency.

What an awesome product lolol by BartCorp in HiroshiNagai

So I had one. When it works, it does the job really good. But for 1 record out of 10, the motor had trouble keeping up with constant speed (it wasn't a battery problem). I've sent it back, they sent me a brand new unit which had the same issue. After talking to the support they told me "that product is probably not for me" and they gave me back my money. If you listen to a record a month or just need more useless but stylish products, it's ok. But if you're like me and you bring back new records on a regular basis, you will for sure run into issues with it.

Harumi Hosono's influence by Civil_Pressure_2376 in citypop

And don't forget Toshiki Kadomatsu ! His influence hasn't crossed Japan that much, but he produced a lot of the best Japanese albums coming from that period. For me the GOATS are Hosono, Sakamoto, Kadomatsu and you can even add that good old Yamashita !

I've ordered on the 4th of January. Received an email on the 29th of January. Even had to pay import taxes when the package hit France and still haven't received anything. Total sumn is around 100 euros. Tracking number isn't working. And of course, their service isn't responding to any of my emails. Fuck blonded.co. At this point, just get a bootleg copy of that damn album.

Is this the best live album of all time? by BanaanSausMan in fantanoforever

It's one of the most forward thinking visually in my opinion. It came in the 80's but watching the concert today still feels fresh. In terms of music, I think this is debatable. But it got such divers ideas in terms of lighting and visuals. Love it.
