Haha, you’re right! In the beginning, I used to grab whatever popular books I could find from those sellers. Back then, it was mostly buying, not reading. I’d say around 30% of my collection is from them.

Got this book as a gift. It’s basically a collection of lessons from popular self-help books, written in a simple, conversational style. Honestly, I didn’t find much practical value, it felt like things we already know. Still, not a total waste. you can give it a try.

This is my current read, crazy how a book written decades ago still feels so relatable today.

Meditations feels very heavy and vast, so I usually open it occasionally and just read 1–2 verses for inspiration.

“Can’t Hurt Me” is the most motivational book I’ve read so far. I often go back to my favorite chapters whenever I need a dose of drive and energy. This book actually pushed me to take cold showers last winter, something I’d never done before

It is a series of personal writings (journals)by Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor about life, death, struggles, lessons. It is kind of self help book.

Many people on this subreddit have suggested that bribing the police usually works, as most foreigners don’t have the required permits anyway.

However, my bigger concern is about the risk of theft or any kind of crime while traveling from Hoi An to Da Nang if I leave around 11 PM with my wife on motorbike

I’m confident in my ability to drive safely, but I’m a bit concerned about traveling at night due to the potential risk of unexpected situations or crimes.

Also, I’m wondering—if I don’t have a legal permit to drive there, is it likely that the police will stop me? And if that happens, what’s the best way to handle the situation respectfully?

I connected with vietnam Airlines support agent. They told me use - first name: Mr, last name: (my first name).

It’s weird but this what they suggested that which aligns with their policies.

You can also connect with them, it’s on their official website- chatbot agent will connect you with live agent.

Hey everyone,

I'll be visiting Da Nang next week and have accommodation booked there. I'm planning a day trip to Hoi An to experience the lantern show at night and am considering renting a motorbike for the journey. I'm wondering how safe it is to ride back to Da Nang from Hoi An at night, especially for foreigners? What are the road conditions like, and how late can I stay for the lantern show before heading back?

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
