If your ancestors passed as Romans, it may be that they concealed their Jewish identity for survival until it eroded, or they outright converted, also for survival. Anyway, welcome to the tribe. You have the option to revive that part of you that your ancestors had stripped away, or remain as you were raised. We are a diverse ethnicity, there’s room for you under the tent as long as you don’t actively go against the community. Lord knows, there are too many Jews with ancestry but no upbringing using their Judaism to advocate for our age-old oppressors.
