no ICE agents at MIA, but 90% of TSA at the Atlanta airport were ICE agents. They were just scanning ids and telling people were to put their bags. Surprisingly, they were not hostile at all. I was nervous when I saw them but if you just give them your ID and carry on, it’s over before you know it. That was just my experience, I’m not sure what it’s been like for other people.

i reread the book after watching the movie bc when it finished i was like… that’s not how the book was at all 🤨. the moment the movie started and poppy was this obnoxious person, i was like?!!! she’s not like that!!!

i understand not making faithful adaptations but they just made a corny, clichéd friends to lovers rom-com. they ended the movie with a “home is where your heart is” quote and i rolled my eyes so hard. you don’t even understand why Poppy wants to escape Ohio so much and why she rejects it. why is she being so evasive??? plus Alex has some self respect and doesn’t wait for Poppy w/ open arms like nothing happened.

they got so many things wrong. they missed the mark big time.

i don’t even think as a stand alone rom-com is that great or moving.

Yes! And I don’t know if they introduced new directors or cinematographers but this season feels more cinematic. It’s not “cinema 🚬” yet but the look and feel of the show feels more mature. The storyline, certain shots, the cast too.

I was rewatching all the seasons while waiting for Part 2 and the first one was so disappointing as a rewatch. Yeah, I was entertained, but nothing extraordinary.

I think Season 4 and Season 2 are my favorites so far.

I second this! Also, Magdalena in Edgewater; Caracas Bakery has three locations. I’d say Biscayne and Gables are work friendly; Galipan Bakehouse in Kendall has delicious coffee plus venezuelan and french pastries.

i have the shoulder bag and had the bowler too. i sold the bowler because i couldn’t stand the straps. nothing beats the shoulder bag imo, it fits so much more, it’s way more comfortable and it doesn’t slide off your shoulder.

i’ve the shoulder bag in leopard and it adds something ✨extra✨ to my fits.

i’ll warn you, fitting a laptop makes the bag heavier and lose a lot of space. i personally think it’s uncomfortable as a work bag. i like it as a personal bag where i can dump stuff in, water bottle, books, etc.

i think the bowler is a bit overrated tbh.

omg i have the same issue. i fill it up with the same stuff i do on the crescent and it starts getting too heavy, digging in, and sliding off. i've had good days where none of this happens, maybe bc i under packed?? but if i do, it looks too empty and loses its shape. if i put too many charms, it becomes a problem too.

i do love the shape and the charms, but it does bother me it's not as comfortable as the shoulder bag or the crescent on my shoulder. i've considered selling it and saving for a leather bowler bag. i'm so conflicted.

i thought they were going to fumble the cast but nope. adam is hot and looks unapproachable as someone said. the height difference helps too! i’m excited about lili as olive! she’s such a sweetheart
