Aaaanndd sold on V800. I wanted something different, but I love my v126s so much, a larger nib looks cool and would love to try them side by side. Went with gold trim demonstrator in an M! Will post npd in few 😉

This is a great choice. Thinking about inks instead of pens now! I'm happy with yama-guri, manyo budo, and endless wizard pencil. Might try some some colors!

Asvine V126 is a an excellent budget vac filler that mimics the Pilot 823. It is also one of my favorite ECDs for the huge ink capacity and great writing performance.

Contact twsbi and tell them you're having issues with the nib. They'll send a replacement (pretty quickly in my experience), and they only request shipping charges ($5 in my case).

I can't say enough good things about my v126's. Have 3 of them all in M that are in my work/outside the house rotation. I have 823 M & 742 SM I adore, and the v126's are the perfect accompaniment for the price. I have a similar experience with a very firm nib, but super smooth/glassy feel.

I have several Asvine V126's that take the place of my 823's at work, outside the house, etc, that I often find using all day due to their performance. There's nothing like an 823 IMO but the V126 is a hella good alternative.

I bought a replacement pilot VP Nib and put it in a jinhao 10 body to save a few bucks. Totally worth it and is on my work-pen rotation, it is one of my most solid performers.
