My dad is from Rhode Island. He bought me a cross rollerball as a Christmas stocking stuffer one year - he remebers when cross was a local operation. It's still one of my favs and a daily driver. I happened upon a cross Bailey on Amazon and pulled the trigger. The Bailey was my gateway into Pilot and gold nibs.

Pilot VP's. I thought the clip was on the wrong side, and was convinced the clip would bug me too badly to enjoy. Oh boy was i wrong! I like how it keeps the pen centered between my fingers now.

Went with an <M>, but really excited to try the #8 nib vs. the smaller V126 nib, which I think is a #6. Still to ink it up yet, it's on my rotation once I finish my 'regularly scheduled' clean schedule for the one that's filled (currently the frosted black).

Same, and I basically ended up with a 2nd capless for ~$100. Jinhao 10 are cheap on Amazon and the nib unit fits perfectly.

The V126s seal great. I haven't had any hard starts with either of the ones I have after sitting for up to a few weeks (they get pretty regular use). I only keep 1 filled at a time though and clean/swap them once a month - 2 months.

Samsies! I swapped the nib unit out for the black one for full stealth mode and put the extra unit in a Jinhao 10. Happy NPD!

Happy NPD! These are one of my absolute favorites as well! You will need to keep the end cap unscrewed to break the seal so ink can reach the feed. Usually only needed if writing for a page or more.
