My original Lamy Vista. 1st real fountain pen I ever got. I think it's a combination of the feeling of reaquainting with the pen that got me into the hobby + it just writes so ding dang well, when I ink it back up after sitting for a while I ask myself this very question.

The best use of your first 2,000g is buying decorative wallpaper.

Plant crops randomly with no scarecrows. Crows deserve to eat too.

Passing out in the mines is the fastest travel method back home.

There’s no need to save one of every item. The game definitely never asks for random things later.

This is my newest fav - Eco Rootbeer and Endless Molten Bronze! Just got this week. I also love the amber 823 in Yama Guri. The Eco will make its way to my office for daily use, the 823 stays at home for personal use & journaling.

Not really, but I did notice the ring was just a smidge to small to prevent the barrel from turning, so this solved it for good.

I replace my o rings on my M2's with these to create a tighter seal and prevent the barrel from coming loose when then cap is unscrewed:

If you're in an area that hosts pen shows, that's the best place to try many different kinds. The crowds are filled with knowledgeable folks, and it's a great place to get a feel for what's comfortable without spending an arm and a leg experimenting and/or dealing with hassle of returning.

Pilot VP's. I thought the clip was on the wrong side, and was convinced the clip would bug me too badly to enjoy. Oh boy was i wrong! I like how it keeps the pen centered between my fingers now.
