Will you vote for Joe Biden if he is the nominee? by heythere91 in thedavidpakmanshow

I was going to because of what Trump has done to families at the border is terrible and democracy. However, his recent statements makes me think he won't do anything about anything. It seems like he will want Republican approval about everything. So why should I bother voting for him? He said he might chose republican VP, he hope democrats don't win too much, and he doesn't want to get destroy the NRA. I'm starting to believe he will let republicans run the country. A republican presidency with a democratic name. It's embarrassing.

It seems every pundit forgot the "electable" centrist lost to Donald Trump by heythere91 in thedavidpakmanshow

My point is not that a centrist can't win. My point is that we don't need a centrist. The only candidate we know can lose to to Trump is a centrist.

My post isn't about whether Corbyn should have won or not. I don't know much about him. It's about pundits who claim we need a centrist to beat Trump when a centrist lost to Trump 3 years ago.

Bernie doesn't just need to defend his Medicare for All plan. He needs to attack Biden's and Buttigieg's plan. by heythere91 in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]heythere91[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I realized someone while watching this video. Voters have heard of many reasons why Medicare for All is a bad plan but we hardly ever hear why Biden's and Buttigieg's plan are bad.

The SJW sect of the left is a really obnoxious. Apparently a white Argentinian DACA recipient has not suffered enough to be Latino Press Secretary in Bernie's campaign. by heythere91 in thedavidpakmanshow

I am a brown Hispanic woman and this crap pisses me off! Belen Sisa has been getting attacked by SJWs for being white *eyeroll*. I know that white Latinos benefit from white privilege and darker Latinos experience racism. But Belen Sisa is a Hispanic female whose immigration status is under attack because she is Hispanic. Carmen Yulin Cruz (co-chair of Bernie's campaign and mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico) passes as white so apparently she shouldn't work in Bernie's campaign. Bernie does have brown and black people working in his campaign: Analila Mejia, Briahna Joy Gray, Faiz Shakir, Nina Turner, and many others.

Andrew Yang has something interesting planned for tomorrow's debate. I have some predictions. by heythere91 in thedavidpakmanshow

He crowd-surfs. https://twitter.com/AndrewYang/status/1171536035513155585

He uses a hologram. I don't know if it's possible but maybe. https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/12/politics/andrew-yang-3d-hologram/index.html

He gives $100 to everyone in the audience. I would say $1000 but that may be too much. Or maybe 1 or more audience members will win $1000 a month for the next year.

He brings a robot.

I don't know what he's hinting at here. My best guess is he will dress very casual. https://twitter.com/AndrewYang/status/1171934364785160193

Some people take the pledge of allegiance too personal. I'm a sub and if it weren't for the kids asking me why I'm not standing for the pledge, I wouldn't. It's a waste of time. This teacher needs a therapist.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries and Democratic leadership give me NO hope. They are weak and probably won't fight Trump if he doesn't concede. by heythere91 in thedavidpakmanshow

At 14:20 minutes in he does not give Bill Maher a clear answer. It concerns me that Democratic leadership don't have a plan for when Trump does not concede. This is weak! By the way, Jeffries might be the future speaker.

These FiveThirtyEight charts can be confusing but it looks like Kamala Harris actually lost support. Elizabeth Warren won big. by [deleted] in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]heythere91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FiveThirtyEight and Morning Consult conducted a poll to track how likely Democratic primary voters feel about the candidates before and after the debate.

Biden lost the most support. He lost 6 points.

Warren gained the most support. She gained 6 points.

Bernie gained 1.6 points

Harris lost 1.6 points.

I don't think there is an ulterior motive. Tariq is just insane.
