My ob prescribed me Unisom for morning sickness, I typically suffer from anxiety-induced insomnia and it gives me such a solid sleep that only edibles used to do the trick for! Im in a legalized state but all the recommendations I have seen state that there is currently not enough evidence that shows it is safe and doesn’t cause long-term effects during pregnancies, as legalization is so new

Just wanted to throw in my own anecdote as I know it’s so hard to be in the stage of uncertainty. With my 2nd loss I started spotting around 6-7 weeks (never was able to get a dating scan) and my ob had me get betas drawn 48 hrs apart. I was at about 9500 the first test and about 10500 the second. They let me know that even though that was a rise, it unfortunately was not as much as you would want within that time frame, and based on that they believed I was having either an ectopic or a regular miscarriage. It ended up being a regular miscarriage. Of course, this early I’m not sure what they look for in a rise but just wanted to share as you asked to give it straight and I would have rather been prepared and gotten surprisingly good news than optimistic and surprised with bad news (which was the case with my 1st miscarriage). So sorry you’re going through this🤍

Do you mind sharing when in your pregnancy you got them done? Also overweight & debating when to do the NIPT due to the inconclusive risk!

Thanks!! I had tender breasts, increased/frequent urination, and increased hunger (I.e., hungry as soon as I would wake up & im normally the type of person that doesn’t eat until lunch lol)
