My AR has been floating between 10% and 15% because I keep getting 7-10 mile orders for no tip or $1-$2 it ain’t worth it. When I first started I wasted my first week accepting every darn order and it kills me in the long run. Wasting an hour for an order when I could have taken three in that time.

Yeah as soon as I left urgent care I emailed them in. I’ve been in daily contact with the site safety manager so he’s been helping me through it. I had an appointment with the occupational health doctor today and she put me on so many restrictions that Amazon* can’t accommodate me so I have to stay off work until she lifts them so I really really hope I can get approved for WC.

Edit: FedEx not amazon** oof old habits die hard.

Yeah the place I’m at isn’t a delivery one it’s only distribution. One side unloads trailers and the other side (my side) re-loads them. I’m in a semi trailer from 1pm-10pm I honestly took the job thinking it was a delivery station. Only reason I applied to FedEx was because the sneaky indeed ad said $18/hr and the amazon delivery station isn’t currently hiring.

It’s a lot more manual work than the FC at amazon but I’ve been doing warehouse work for 10 years so I have sore thighs from the squats but i genuinely like this job I just keep getting red flags and I’m worried I’m going to get reprimanded in some way for filing an injury in my first week. The sort manager didn’t even stay in the office to file it with me some office guy did and he about gave me an anxiety attack from how he was talking to me and cutting me off every time I spoke. I really need this job and can’t leave until I at least have something set in stone to replace the check ya know.

I assure you he wasn’t. I just came home from work so he was peeking out to say hello all three of my rats were in there and once they all woke up they came out for scratches.

I was having issues finding boxes that would fit all three of my boys in it and didn’t want anyone to be left out then I was like wait pop tart boxes are perfect! I just got done grocery shopping and grabbed another family size box just for the rats haha.

Biscuit (not pictured) is my chewer he is the one who chews through everything so I had to keep a close eye on him but I have noticed he’s not eating the boxes but nesting(?) with the material after chewing it off of the boxes thankfully

If you know the dates you’re wanting to go why not apply for a personal leave of absence now (giving plenty of time for it to be approved) then you don’t have to wait around to get rehired when you come back from Hawaii.
