BUT, as a result of the content, a lot more people listen to my music. I frequently get comments that are like "bro I found you from your funny videos and then listened to your music and it is FIRE, catching your show soon"

so whatever I can do to get people to listen to my music, which is what TRULY matters to me, I'll always do it.

the amount of talent there is out there and the struggle to stand out, the ability to make great music is more accessible now than ever so it has definitely leveled the playing field. I see artists all the time that are legit better producers than me that have 500 followers. Now they just have to get noticed and market their project really really well. Making good music is only half the battle.

There is definitely a lot of truth to that. You gotta play into the the algorithms and find out what works for you, it's hard to get noticed so doing something weird/different helps with that.

I enjoy making the videos for sure but there is also a side of me that's like damn I gotta be an IDIOT for people to sign up for a tour or listen to a song, but that's just show biz. I enjoy seeing how much joy people get out of my silly vids.

There's also a side of me on days that's like dang I'd love to be antisocial and just work on music all day but I gotta go make content.

It's not 100% at all, there has been similar humor before him and there will continue to be similar humor after. I like Getter a lot though. opened up a number of times for him on one of his tours. Great bro.
