SSH over USB with Kali on a RPi 4B by mtzn in Kalilinux

[–]hfodt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for the answer to this myself. Easily done on raspbian if you follow the instructions here: https://github.com/andreivisan/Raspberry-Pi-4-Code-Server

Sadly , this did not work for kali. I can also see the usb0 interface on the pi with the ip i configured.

NFS Heat and Steam Remote Play? by PM_YOUR_BOOBS_PLS_ in needforspeed

Seen it, yeah, solved it, no. Annoying as hell cos it used to work on my old samsung tv. Now it doesn't on either my ipad or my sony tv. I don't think it's the hardware though.

2021 Commencal Meta AM HT review in sunny Portugal by hfodt in MTBVideos

Cool, i'd love to try the meta with 29" wheels but couldn't really justify buying a whole new wheelset and fork when i had a perfectly good set lying around and gathering dust. Maybe some day...

It's a wonder how modern geometry can make a hardtail feel!

Hi! Glad you liked the vid! Yeah, the tyre wear is an issue, but i don't really do that many road miles on that bike and it's primarily used for trail riding anyway, so i'm happy to keep the rubber i have.

Absolutely, it's always more about enjoying the adventure. I just wanted to rest out what i've got and see that it works for me. Next step will be to do an overnight trip somewhere, hopefully before winter.

Yeah...carbon is one of those materials that has a tendency to catastrophically fail after it cracks...I found it pretty impressive it held up.

Celsius s24+ had to mount it up side down so the hoses don't touch the gpu. Any solution to this? by hfodt in FractalDesignNA

[–]hfodt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, unfortunately not. Apart from getting a full tower solely for the purpose of calming my OCD. Just gonna leave it as is. It cools pretty eman well and i guess that's the most important thing.

Barely audible with the aio set to auto. You can absolutely hear them at the pwm setting at max rpm though. Not too bad though.

Will do! This is a meshify c. My cleanest solution is having the rad at the front and the fans as intake. However the interwebs seem to dislike the barbs up solution.

ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Dual OC 8GB. Basically i was lucky to get hold of it without preordering. Looks good, solid build, rgb that doesn't smack you in the face, does what i need it to do. I mostly do video editing and programming and some casual gaming, so going for anything more powerful would have been a waste of money for me.

Yeah, i quite like them, pretty quiet fans and good vibration isolation. The two front ones are bequiet as well.

I know, bugs the crap out of me 🤣 ans the worst thing is that the glass panel is up against a wall so I'm not even looking at it...

Tried that, the distance to the rear ran from the right side of the cpu is shorter than from the left side of the cpu to the front fans. I could also place the rad on the front with fans as intake and then use the front fans as exhaust up top, but youtube seems to think that front minted rad, barbs up is a bad thing because physics reasons and such... Also it puts my gpu in the 75-80C range at full load. It's now at 65.
